Ek chota sa confusion hai, agar main BHNI mein lagau toh getting ipo allotment chances are more than SHNI? as current subscription is (113x) so it will be divided by 5 (10lakh/5)= 2lakhs then pehle sabko 2 lakh ke allotment hoga na? is that correct and also BHNI mein koi risk toh nahi hota ASBA ke through lagaane mein?

you are right. Allotment chances are more in BHNI category in today's case. It is not like retail category that first of all one lot will allotted equally. In hni case, allotment will be on the basis of lottery in proportion to application in every lot. Regarding risk, I should say if it is risky to apply in any IPO it is equally applied in all categories.

​@Sanduli It is relatively small issue (600 Cr) and 75% quota is for institutions. With balance 60 Cr for bHNI, 30 Cr for sHNI and 60 Cr for retail, super oversubscription is obvious. There are no other mainboard IPOs in sight and hence all categories appear to be applying with full enthusiasm.

No amount is debited from your FD. It will debited from your OD account.

For example,
If you create an 11lakh FD bank will provide 90% OD amount against your FD. So you can use this amount to apply for IPO. If you get the IPO allotment, the amount is debited from the OD account. The bank will charge as per the days you use this amount.

Does applying and filling all the three bids in IPO application increase chance of allotment by increasing probability in oversubscribed IPO's?
For ex , If in Retail ( if I put Bid 1= 3 lots . Bid2 = 2 lots , Bid 3 = 1 lot at cutt off vs only 1 Bid at cutt off)

Similarly in SHNI & BHNI , if we keep 1 bid to meet the category and play with the other two bids , does it increases the allotment chances and they the other bid considered separate in allotment process?

Change lot size and change in allotment probability is not applicable for mainboards

No it does not increase chance in allotment process..

Applied in mix of all categories.

Highly oversubscribed game of 20% why thinking so much go for some quality mid and small cap stock for 3 to 4 days and gain easily 10 to 20 percent

How to find out such stocks? it can also go in reverse right after you take your position which isn't possible here. Safety has a price.
