hello people you all have sky rocketing expections. 21rs 40rs 2nd day. as far as i have learnt higher the expection more the frustation. Nwayz ia applied for 2500 shares :(, do i have any chance or my 1st ipo investment will be a Flop-Show :(
Retail subscriptions figures will be out only on 19th as per officer. There is absolutely no doubt that they are doing back entries of lot of applications w/o our knowledge. This is India and anything works. Not good for people like us. Subscription shooting up from 9 to 45 times is also worth questioning but to whom.
AVON was overscribed 45 times see MONEY CONTROL [IPO] so don't hope allotment more share. allotment ratio will be 1:5 allotment time 25 days and listing time 30 days because it was fix price band. i applied but not hope for allotment for all time my bad luck. locky investor may allot this ipo share i wish best luck to all investor.

Avon to list at 28 rs.will move to 48 rs at 2 pm and will close at around 60 rs. This is ine of the largest distributor of weighing system.looking at so much high stake by promoters and also confidence in them this stock will be a super super bumper listing

I confirmed this with Compliance officer of this IPO today again.
It is oversubscribed by 45 times overall.... they do not have retail oversubscription data at the moment. They will get that data on 19th only. Strange, isn't it ??

The company engaged in the business of selling weighing systems in India had entered the capital markets on 9th June 2008 with a public issue of 1,37,33,033 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each at par aggregating to Rs 1373.30 lacs. This comprises of promoters’ contribution of 38,96,633 Equity Shares aggregating to Rs 389.66 lacs, leaving a net offer to the public of 98,36,400 Equity Shares aggregating Rs 983.64 lacs constituting 59.33% of the post issue paid-up capital of the Company. The Equity Shares are proposed to be listed on BSE.
Avon proposes to part finance its Rs 17.30 crore plan through the net proceeds of the Issue. The plan include setting up of facility for manufacturing of a range of weighing systems, open four showrooms for display and sale of its weighing systems in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad, and purchase of additional office premises in Mumbai. The project is proposed to be funded through IPO of Rs 9.83 crores, promoters contribution of Rs 4.36 crores, internal accruals of Rs. 0.50 crore and a term loan of Rs.2.60 crores from Bank of India.
The proposed manufacturing plant will be set up at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh with technical assistance from Tanita Corporation of Japan. Avon will be able to enjoy fiscal incentives provided by the Himachal Pradesh government for setting up plant at Baddi.
