Allotment Pattern :
Single Lot Applicant : 6 out of 10 , will get the allotment.
Double Lot Applicant : 2 out of 10 , will get the allotment.
For others, no allotment pattern followed.

I am into stock markets since last 6 months and have never seen a funnier ratio of allotment. totally mis match. There cannot be such a difference between applications. LOL

Allotment process has changed from the old IPO days.

In case of oversubscription, all the allotees will get 1 lot irrespective of the number of lots applied based on the pick randomly by computers.

Assume there are 1000 applicants and only 100 applicants can be alloted.

Now here irrespective of the number of lots applied, 100 applicants will be picked by the computer and alloted 1 lot each.

The remaining 900 will get refund.

This is the reason many of them apply for 1 lot only now. Those who are ignorant only go for more than 1 lot.

(a) In the event the number of RIBs who have submitted valid Bids in the Offer is equal to or less than
Maximum RIB Allottees, (i) all such RIBs shall be Allotted the minimum Bid Lot; and (ii) the balance
available Equity Shares, if any, remaining in the Retail Category shall be Allotted on a proportionate basis
to the RIBs who have received Allotment as per (i) above for the balance demand of the Equity Shares Bid
by them (i.e. who have Bid for more than the minimum Bid Lot).


(b) In the event the number of RIBs who have submitted valid Bids in the Offer is more than Maximum RIB
Allottees, the RIBs (in that category) who will then be Allotted minimum Bid Lot shall be determined on
the basis of draw of lots.

I have did two application from same sbi account for D-Mart. Both of them have BSE Submitted Message but when i checked my bank account its only 1 application amount has been blocked. So what should be the issue ?

I''m a new investor. I applied to D-Mart IPO and then immediately started receiving SMS and emails from multiple 3rd parties. Is there a public list where these details are available or has the broker breached privacy. If this is posted in the wrong thread, my apologies.

This happened with me too. I kept wondering what has happened!! Now, I know. Thanks for your question. Is there a way to stop this nonsense? Btw, I have applied using ICICI Direct. I will take it up with them.

ICICI Direct for me too. I raised it up and they said that they do not share and it must be done by registrar. How can it within law? Is violation of contract, no?
