There is no reason for not applying to DMart IPO.
This may be a strategy to increase the chance of getting allotment for self by discouraging other investors not to apply.
Very difficult to study the market and its players.
What do we want more when the company has been continuously showing improvement in both top line and bottom line.
Of course I will take a final decision once the issue opens abd after going through the entire financials of the Company, promoters background, existing charges if any on the assets of the company, etc.

IPOs seem to be the best route for the industrialist to become richest man on the planet earth . No wonder in future if birla , tata and ambani also try this way to compete among themselves like telecom war because in the past before 8 years ( around 2008 crisis ) I remember well when reliance shares were on the top pick , Mukesh Ambani was declared richest man for 1 day leaving behind Bill Gates.

Anil Ambani malpracticed innocent investors'' money in RCom and R Power ( Indian Mkt crisis all at that time and he becomes more richer )

If this is the case then at least try 1 lot for listing gain like BSE because I think ,not DMart but MBL may react like IPL . The reason is clear MBL has hired only 1 Lead Manager ICICI which has not too good past track record and jagran prakashan also listed at 13 % discount . At that time also they hired ICICI alone.Another reason is karvy which may not sounds good.
