In new year global listed in positive, Udashivakumar will also list with excellent premium but worry is with Avalon. In previous both no one considered participation of qib but for success of Avalon qib must be above 30x, otherwise many will withdraw applications. बाय द वे एक अच्छी बात, पापी परींदा अब सुधर गया है।
Gmp is ZERO, as company offer price @436is too high to yeild any profit. So guys see how macro µ evolves . V difficult to quote at premium after listing.

@Param Patel Yes, you are right. PE of Avalon based on TTM EPS is 48. In comparison, Syrma SGS, Kaynes Technology, Dixon Technologies and Amber Enterprises are quoting at a PE of 49, 76, 70 and 56 (based on TTM EPS upto Dec.22).
Avalon Technologies good company but why no premiums

Not much of a difference when compared with Syrma SGS on parameters of revenue, profit, borrowings, PE etc. If fact, NPM of Syrma is on a little higher side. Avlon seems to be a good company from business prospects point of view but in my opinion, not much left on table for listing gains. Personally, I am not in favour of holding IPO allotment with a longer term view in current market conditions.
Company is very good but valuations are on a very High side but still good future prospects We could expect after listing moves like kaynes technologies
@newgen valuations are not that High compare to others company is asking 40 PE while syrma at 50 PE,Kaynes at 100 PE, Amber at 70 PE

Accept Ujwal G comments, Elin is now quoting at below 50% of the IPO price. Very pathetic. Tread cautiously on this company too. Valuations are expensive.

I expect some more dent in gmp. Recent ems sector listing was Elin electronics, same sector but different business model.elin is almost 50% down. It surely will affect the sentiment here.
Out of topic. Yesterday booked about 20 K profit in HAL OFS shares , by selling 2 lots of 80 shares each. Could offset some losses in recent mainboard issue Elin.

@student It is very simple just calculate probability of राय at which shares can be purchased .like in HAL I put bid at 2475 and got shares and sold on the next day . It is all upon calculation based no thumb rule .
@student, Check BSE Website , Public Issues window on a daily basis for good forthcoming OFS offerings. OFS kept open for T plus 1 day. For Non Retail on first day and the clearing price is fixed as minimum bid price for Retail bidders. Allotment is done on price priority basis. Higher the price you quote , better the chances of Allotment. Decide and bid in such a way based on the fundamentals and the prevailing market price of the particular share , its past performance, future outlook etc etc. As for HAL OFS price fixed for Retail was 2472. I bid at 2472.05 and got allotment of 2 X 80. OFS closed on 27th March and shares got credited and sold the next day with good profit in just 2 days.
@Thiagarajan Hi can you please guide me on this. 1 When we have to keep money in our trading account , While applying or next day when share get credited?
2 How we know the cut off price for retail as it's different from floor price
And do we get sure allotment if we select cut off while applying
3 Share get credited on T+3 day and can sell on T+4 day 9 am right?
@Seth, 01. When you apply for OFS, full bid amount will be blocked / debited in your Bank Account. If no shares allotted, amount will be unblocked or credited back in due course. 02. Both NSE and BSE websites will show the clearing price for non retail at close of the issue opening day. Retail have to bid at or above that price. 03. Cut off price will not assure allotment, as it is done on price priority basis. If the Issue is oversubscribed, Retail Bidders , bidding at or above Retail clearing price only will get allotment. 04.OFS shares will get credited around 2 pm on the next working day of the issue closing date.
@tyagrajan ramaswamy ,sir we all wish u would had informed prior in forum ,lot of people would had tried & made some profit, bcoz of ur input...( At Least in future kindly alert Forum ppl...Thanks for ur input)
OFS always gives profit is not possible. Previous ofs of HAL was made @1000/ and after discount of 5% to only retail investors who have been alotted 950/ and above as per their bids. It's price came below 675/. Some days before IRCTC issued shares @680/ in OFS, now trading below 600/. It all depends on luck.
@Jamsait, While I can share OFS details in the Forum , to participate or not should be the individual's decision. OFS announcement will come at close of market hours and the next day is Non Retail bidding day. Retail Investors will have a day to study the fundamentals, non retail response and other factors and take decision according to their risk profile. As for opening separate page for OFS discussion, let Chittorgarh Admin decide and announce. I agree with Mr Parwal , that all OFS may not give profit. OFS is as risky as IPO mainboard and sme .

It is interesting to see messages. Nobody is speaking about Avalon, but about other companies. It's a clear picture that people are not interested in costly main board ipos. Companies and lead managers must take note of it

FY 22 EPS is Rs. 11.30. Weighted average EPS is Rs. 7.36. Ipo rate is Rs.436/=. It means that the company is asking for FY 22 PE of approx 38.50 . Subscription would be tough at these market conditions. This company is slightly similar to ELIN, which is already quoting at 50% to IPO rate. Be cautious, read more information before investing.
