The issue is hardly going to subscribe. The question of GMP is difficult to understand. Even GMP is not a criteria to apply. USK the best example thereafter. Small issue, high subscription and high GMP. Every thing on higher side but listing on negative side.
Trade done in GMP by any member himself, can only be GMP. Otherwise GMP is only AIR in the market.
Not even a single IPO is worth applying for a very less gain, if any. You are only the best Judge for yourself.

No doubt, it's big relief to market, but not good for Senior Citizens and others who have one part of income from FDs. All are not investors in Share Market. Markets have temporary effect of all such announcements. In long run only fundamentals and results help the market. General public are always not benefited from such announcements. I may be wrong.

I completely agree with you as the rate of interest is very low and the retired persons and senior citizens who are mainly depending on the monthly income ( post office / LIC / Bank/ FD) have very very tough time. In the past I have witnessed 15 % interest too in the 90s. In India very few people are enjoying the good pension ( Good psus, Railway and very few others) but majority of public is living with very very small amount of pension ( it's a really joke with those people) In the last 10 years the common man ( these senior citizens having low pension Or without pension) have suffered a lot and in India there is no social Security system which made the life of these respected senior citizens miserable. But our society/ govt is not bothered about them, that's the reality and We have to take a lesson from it.

Subscription just not picking up!!!. This despite so many 'subscribe' ratings by broking houses. Signifies Loss of interest in IPOs. It seems Risk factor has increased in both mainline and SME IPOs.

As of now, we close an IPO discussion two months after the issue is closed. It is to avoid unnecessary spamming.

I believe it is now playing in the hands of MF/FII as they were nibbling it for long by scaring retail. O think it will hot 500 this month before they start to drain juce. If result are good then no surprise if it goes to 550+

I don't see much fancy in this sector nor in the company. With a large OFS portion and below average financials, I'm not ready to take any risk in this volatile market. Will only apply to get 1 retail lot if QIB crosses 3x and total subs is 2x. Thanks.

Applied 1 retail application for confirmed lot. Aiming for 5% listing gain (700 profit) through which I can treat my so (pigeon) to roughly 38 dabelis at 18 each. Thanks.

I have analyzed the few main ipos in which NII & Retail participation was not too good & overall response was also not too encouraging. The gmp was also not too good for subscription. But the persons who have encourage and taken stand against the wind have benefited and got good returns. The details of few ipos are as under.
1. Divgi : NII - 1.4 & Retail- 4.31
IPO price/ Listing: 590/605
2. Global : NII - 4.03 & Retail- 0.88
IPO price/ Listing: 336/ 391
3. Bikani : NII - 7.10 & Retail- 4.77
IPO price/ Listing: 300 / 321
There may be many more but these were in the past and nowadays the market sentiment is not good as earlier ( 2022) I am thinking to take some calculated risk and going to apply in last hours . This is my thinking not liable to others.

I have applied 4 BHNI applications in Bikaji in which no great response was there particularly from NII & Retail sections but qib response & good anchors in Bikaji. It was given @ 300 and I have alooted total 2100 shares which sold @ 430 and gave the fantastic returns in short time.
Same logic here and Avalon is having reputed anchor book and retail portion is also poor all these factors suggests good returns in short term. I am not looking listing gains. Let's see and how my calculation works.

The unsubscribed portion of Retail & NII will be transfered to QIB, which makes the QIB will be the largest share holder and will be the king maker & game changer.

The retailer will also be very few and the anchor book is also very good . All these factors suggests that

4 companies namely Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services, Cyient DLM, Healthvista Indis and Rashi Peripherals have received green signal from SEBI to go ahead with their IPO plans. All of them have received observations letter last week. First 2 on 29th March and another 2 on 31st March. Now these companies can go ahead for its pDLMroposed fund raising via IPO.
Zaggle IPO consisting 490 crs. Fresh and OFS of 1.05 crs OFS.
Information and Communications Technology products distributor Rashito raise 750 crs IPO by only fresh issue.
Cyient DLM to raise 740 crs. by IPO by only fresh issue.
Out-of-hospital health care provider Healthvista to raise by IPO consisting of 200 crs. Fresh issue and OFS of 5.62 crs. Shares by investors.

As per Axis Capital report 50 companies have already got approval from SEBI.
When these IPOs will enter market, nobody knows.

Wafer thin gain possibility. Avoiding it as burnt fingers in Udayshivkumar also where 64 times over subscription was there in Hni. Here no positivity for investors as total issue size is 865 cr. Participation in every event is not necessary. Wait n watch till 2.30 on closing.

Some members are of the opinion that Avalon Tech is one more Kaynes in making. I may like to compare both the IPOs.

1. Kaynes FV10. Price 587. Fresh 530cr. OFS 328cr. Total 858crs. Figures of last three years :
Total revenue 370cr to 710cr. PAT 9cr to 41 cr.
Borrowings 143cr to 169 crs. Retail subscription only 4x. QIB 98x.
Listing H/L : 787/675.

2. Avalon FV2, Price 436, Fresh 320cr OFS 545Cr.
Total 865crs.
Total Revenue 653cr to 852 crs. PAT 12 Cr to 68 crs. Borrowings 248 cr to 294 crs. Retail & QIB subscription yet to come.

In view of above comparison, FV and price, OFS, Revenue and Borrowings, it is difficult to say that Avalon Tech will be another Kaynes in making.

But in stock market, nothing is possible or impossible. Now it's difficult to believe in GMP and subscription figures. USK Listing has proved. Many more examples are also there. Market is not driven by Retail investors but driven by unknown powers.
Better to be careful at every level.
