Your right there were 2 links given by ICICI this time One was fr Retail and one was for Employee....It appears u had applied thru the employee one....Wonder why ICICI did that when they could have given a dropdown for employees to avoid clerical errors

I had applied 5 applications from ICICI Demat accounts for different persons. none of the application has been successful. under issue type "EMPLOYEE CATEGORYIPO" is shown. what can be the matter, I applied in retail category.

You should have applied under employee quota. Seems u applied under individual category.

it seems ICICIDirect had kept EMPLOYEE as default option and I applied routinely ignoring the alert they presented during the application process. I have been applying for IPOs for last 10 years and this type of mistake has happened 1st time. I have spoken to ICICIDirect and told them that Retail should be default option as millions of applicants will be in retails category and there will be very few in employee category,

I have checked with my pan number showing no record found what that mean.
