The interest collected on 17,000 crores in 10 days would be ~17 crore (almost 25% of total issue size), so listing should be at least 62.50 and onward.
I''d place buy order at 62.50 on listing day, keeping that math in mind. Right?

ppl are spreading incorrect info on HNI allotment: While it is true that ppl who have applied 2.1 lac will get 1 lot by ratio of 1:28. (and so on ppl with 4.2 lac will get 1 lot 1:14) For higher value applications, info is available on this very site, I have provided link to Salsar allotment which also was very heavily oversubscribed.
Definite allotment if you would have applied in HNI category for more than 56 Lacs worth shares at cutoff. Rest Retail are pure lottery. I dont know why people apply for 2 Lakh for such highly oversubscribed ipo in retail category
even if you have applied for 1 lot, probability to get only 1 lot ie 280 shares will be the same. in case of over subscription in retail category you will not get more than 1 lot, no matter how many lots you apply in retail category. refer to sebi rules

How much share allotment can an HNI with 210000 expect ?
@DownriteVJ of your statement is true, then I''ve made a huge mistake by putting my money through HNI application. But I''d still like to get a response from some other senior members.
No offense intended, but if your previous statement is true, why would any person in right frame of his mind put 2lac for getting allotment of shares worth 500Rs even after seeing this mayhem of an IPO subscription.

Allotment in HNI application will be done on pro-rata base. Minimum 1 lot is allotted. To understand better, you can refer below link for CDSL allotment basis.
Allotment for HNI also will happen for min lot , ie 280, so there will be draw of lots for people applied less than 56 lakhs. For above 56 lakhs, it will be proportional and not in multiples of 280. But still the chances of people who has applied for 2.1 lakh, is better than retail.

@GSM
I understand. But what if you have 2 Crore and only 1 account (may 2-3 considering your family members)? HNI section will sureshot give you share of worth 50000.
Also you have so much high GMP, there is no reason not to do so.
Also nobody knows that how much the subscription would be.
you will be allot on lottery basis, reason its pro rata basis on descending basis higher bid have higher allotment, last all people allot on lottery basis

Can you advise where this figure of 56 Lakh came in from in your previous comment? I normally apply under HNI have mostly been able to get one lot allocated. Never less than one lot. But for Cochin Shipyard, I had got 37 shares, which was slightly more than a lot.
Lot size of allotment is 280. Minimum 280 will be alloted. Now see ur chances for allotment.

I was myself curious about the allotment for HNIs. On checking previous basis of allotments of heavily subscribed IPOs, it became apparent that minimum 1 lot will be allotted (280 here), and on the basis of NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED FOR THAT SLAB. For example, if 4 applications are received for say, 5600 shares (20 lots) then 1 out of 4 will be allotted 280 shares. But then, sometimes this also varies as the number of slabs go up.
Hi all, I have booked 1 lot of 280 units on 4th day around 12.00 PM! I know chances are rare to get an allotment but just need some clarity on allotment process. Will it be on first come first basis or any other? Please share I am new in market. Thanks Parv
No there is no such rule of FIFO basis it is on lottery basis All the successful application stand the equal chances of allotment So best of luck Thanks And Regard
Hi,I am new in IPO market and I applied through axis bank but i haven''t got any message up till now.when i am checking my account details the money is being deducted but its showing processing .. Please help me in it
You will not get any msg till the time of allotment and your money is lined on your bank account that means that u can not use that money till the time of allotment If u are not allotted in the process then the money will be refund to ur account Thanks And Regard
