Crow Verdict: ASK Automotive to me looks like a forgettable company as it operates in a very specific niche in the automobile industry. As someone who doesn't hold a single automobile or its auxiliary stock (except Sona Comstar), I don't see any reason to go long on this. The business is too niche, uncommon, and limited for my liking. Not to mention the Som Datt fiasco is still fresh in my mind, hinting at a possible chink in the management's armour. The full OFS, high asking price, and poor trades in the grey market are major red flags. However, I see some buoyancy in this issue as it will be the first post-Diwali listing. Sometimes you have to put the fundamentals aside and go with the market flow to gain something. I will secure 1 retail lot only if QIB crosses 10x and exit on listing. This is for risk-takers who can stomach a flat listing and post-listing plateauing.
Crow's skin in the game: 1 retail lot if QIB crosses 10x.
Crow's last NEUTRAL recommendation: Honasa (2% listing pop and currently down 5%.
Always in restraint of Mrs. Crow.
