I believe HNIs in SME IPOs will be allocated proportionately unlike Mainboard IPOs where it is lottery in case of over subscription.
Then what is the use of u this suggestion to apply 9 lots or 11 lots. Am I missing something?

I will apply a few 9 lots apps and a few 11 lot apps.. 👍
@Thoth.... Don't worry ... There will be more than enough applications for 9 lots as well as 11 lots to be eligible for the lottery.... Infact 9 lots is one of the most applied for coz of 10 lakh worth 0f shares.... So no need to ask anyone to join. Just apply and hope u are lucky in the lottery.
@Plaza As discussed, I have made 3rd application of 9 lots. My total count is 3 HNI applications of 9 lots each. And you have made 7 apps of 9 lots each.
Let's see what it brings to us.

@thoth
Now finally IN TOTAL I HAD APPLIED 9 APPLICATION OF 9 LOTS EACH HOPE FOR A CONSIDERATION IN LOTTERY
I had applied 2 X 20 Lots applications in Baheti. But BoA is missing that row (60,000 shares X 2 applications) completely. I have applied with similar amounts in multiple SME IPOs, but haven't received my fare share in terms of probability %. Am I doing something wrong ? Do i need to join others for specific number of lots to improve my chances ? Any guidance on exactly how SME allocation works will help all forum members to size their bids correctly. Any experts please ?
Hello, does anyone know if third party UPI applications are allowed? I will apply from 3 accounts but all mandates will be sent to one UPI id for approval. Please let me know, thank you.

It is highly dependent on Registrar & Banks. Some banks (like SBI Yono) & some RTA (like Linkintime) but when they will disallow nobody know. So safe approach will be to not use 3rd party UPI applications.
Can I apply in HNI ??? I am an Induvial and a Senior also. The maximum investment I have is only for two lots. A advise would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi Lokes , MRavi , Trueinfo and experts..i have being trying SME IPOs from past 30 listings applying in Retail and HNI but no luck till now....i have 40 lakh fund and want to know which had the high probability of getting picked up in lottery
1. 1 HNI application (40LAKHS) 2. 2 HNI application(20LAKHD) 3. 14 HNI application (2 LOTS EACH) 4. Any other retail is best
PLEASE HELP ME TO GET OUT OF THIS DROUGHT of not getting SME IPO.
Very informative to me, I am a Senior. I have been applying in the Retail in 3 accounts I have but so far never got even a single allotment ??? I think it is a waste of time and energy. Thanks for your post.
I have 20 lacs of funds and 15 demat accounts How to do allocation in this ipo so as to improve allotment chances also guide whether to apply in retail or HNi
In Retail may be you will apply 50 times to get an allotment. Apply one single application in HNI, the allotment chances will improve and you will succeed sooner than your retail applications. Retail is just timepass. Block - unblock game only.
Decision is yours.

@Thoth But that single HNI application should have lot size more than half of subscription figure, (if sub figure is 500 times, your single hni application should have more than 250 lots), otherwise it may not even be consideted in lottery.
With limited funds these maths beyond our control so is retail apps where we apply uncountable times and not get allotted. I wonder who gets in Retail.

What is the NII/HNI rules for SME ipo? For e.g. proportionate based or lotery based?
Assume i apply 10 X retail amount?

It is proportionate as long as lot size is maintained. In case of iversubscription, lottery starts.
Hi Lokes , MRavi , Trueinfo, Noorul and experts, I'm new to sme IPO could someone guide with following details: 1. Difference between UPI and ASBA application & who has more chance of allotment. 2. Difference between Retail and SHNI or HNI, how many lots one need to apply in each category and who has more chances of getting alloted. .. I'm sure many of new investers with small money for 2-3lots have same doubts. I read Many blogs and articles but no perfect answers. Thank you in advance.
UPI and ASBA are just two different modes of application. There's no evidence of one mode having greater chances of allotment than the other. But, with UPI you get the luxury of accepting your bid by 5pm on issue closure date, whereas you need to finalise your decision by 2/3pm in ASBA.
UPI has a limit of 5 lakh only and there is nothing like SHNI AND BHNI in smes... Only 2 categories retail and hni are there.. Anything above 2 lakh considered as a HNI application.
One more question @ValueSeeker, @Noorul Let's say if we have 3L to invest. What will be better option in case of allotment.. 3 Retail through 3 different demat Or 3 retail lots through one application only. Thank you for response

Ek totka jo kaam karta hai IPOs me as per numerology..
1. If you are born on 1, 10, 19, 28th date of any month then try applying 10,19,28 lots and you will see you are lucky in most of the times.
2. Similarly, If you are born on 2,11,20,29th day of any month then try applying 2,11,20,29 lots.
Similarly for other dates.
Option 2: Day+Date of birth Here if you are born on 21st of Oct then try adding 2+1+1+0 which is 4 so apply 4,13,22… lots and you will see the allotment chances are very high!
These look superstitious but these really work. You can see the importance of these numbers even in your daily life. Just calculate your birthday or expression or Magic number and see things around you and you will get to know.
If anyone agree to this, please reply with your experience. 😊 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Everyone, Is there any chance of SME allotment for 1 lot applicant after the rules changed? Have been applying 1 lot in SME but never got any allotment.
Chance is always there in retails with 1 lot. For better chance apply 2 lots which will become HNI and may have slightly better chance but that depends upon the subscription number as well hog big applications HNI have put.
I have funds for 10 retail applications and 10 demat accounts. please suggest me the way to apply so that i get allotment. I always applied in 10 retails applications but never get alloted
Bhai log sme me retailer ka game khatm ho gaya hai aisa lagata hai. Sab 400 times subscribe ho rahe hain. NII me hi chance hai but fund should be above 60 lakh
