All good things here except the Registar which is Linkintime which is always too much late and always frustrating the investors. In DCX the dt of allotment was 7th Nov and on 9th Nov the investors have the information. Some authorities may supervise this process and penalized it.

My query is, can I apply for 69 lots in BHNI or can I add one more lot i.e for 70 lots in BHNI so that my application gets out of bulk applicants. Is it technically correct. I had been applying like this earlier, but have never got allotment, is this the reason.

If there are not sufficient applications, odd one may not even be considered in lottery. So better be safe than greedy.

Incase, it does get over-subscribed:
in b-HNI category, does it make sense to apply above > 407 per share (highest price) so as to get the allotment?
and how many lots? does it make sense to apply for >69 lots to make it equal to subscription times?

Bit surprised to see Capital Market give 52 rating to Archean. Perhaps the only IPO it has rated this high in the last couple years. Although, please do your own research and don't depend on these rating blindly.

In BHNI we have to apply for minimum 69 lots of we wish to apply for 70 lots can we do so.I hope technically it is correct

what should be stock price to apply at?
should it be 407 or more?

always go for upper band of the price because if the issue is oversubscribed they will reject the applications with low price.

In b-HNI category, given the over-subscription in category, what is ideal stock price to apply at?
In the past, for e.g. DCX Systems), I applied at 207 (highest price) but didn't get the allotment, although I had applied for more than 50x lot size. Hence, I guess the issue with application could have been the stock price which I applied it.

I don't want to miss this one. Let me know what is ideal price to apply at in b-HNI category?

@Prateek: Always u apply at highest price in the price band as over subscribed issue will not set below highest price. Now it is lottery in both HNI categories (sHNI and bHNI), so ur chances of allotment will remain same in an over subscribed IPO irrespective of how many lots u apply.

Again linkintime. These guys are just on another level. How can you continuously mess up for so many years. Atleast in Kfintech they had ups and downs. Linkintime is just unbearable.
