Unblocking depends on the bank also. HDFC will be unblocked tomorrow morning if not allotted. But SBI/IOB and some other banks day after.

Kindly note, across the broking industry, the sell trade settlement mechanism has changed starting with the trades executed on November 14th, 2022.

Under the new mandated mechanism, the stocks sold by clients will be “Blocked” in their demat account in favour of the “Settlement number” under which they have executed the sell and will not move to the broker’s pool account.

The clearing corporations will directly use the Blocked stock quantity to extinguish the client’s obligations towards sell trade on the day of settlement of trade, i.e. either on T+2 or T+1 days, based on the scrip sold.

This is y most of us received blocked msg once share is sold...

Trends and interest should align while investing then only we can have a bull run for a stock.
The key word Trending right now in the market is EV and Defence.
Anything that comes related those words will overthrow valuation sense.
Anything that doesn't relate to those two words will have a muted response, still if we don't have a choice then whatever comes is the king.

Chemical, pharmaceutical, metal, IT .are all chilling out, money is flowing through the trend
And the idea of a truly long term investor is fading away because gen Z doesn't have patience that includes me. Trust is on a thin ice because of IPOs launched last year. So far since December, very few have gone below the issue price.

Since we are still in ambiguity about where does the world move forward with lay offs and rising market, it's good to take profits and leave for a while.

So if I'm right about the trend, then dcx should not fall tommorow even though results were muted.
Understand, where ever you put money, it circles back into the market.
