There is no point in keep telling retailers not to sell.

Most of the retailers are weak hands and not willing to take calculated risks. Most of them will seek to exit at opening bringing down the listing price and subsequent market valuation. Whatever happens promoters are always winners and retailers are always on the disadvantaged side.

We cant really do anything other than wait and watch unless one is ready to book loss immediately (if needed).

Not just retail , its true for HNIs as well, all boils down to the intent with which an IPO was subscribed, for listing gains or being a true investment.

Real HNIs do not sell so easily at loss . At worst they still seek to recover their funding cost and that is the very "Raison de etre" of "GMP". It is the new retail investors in reality but invest more than 2L in market who exit immediately to avoid even a small amount of risk and their nos is very significant and hence lower price discovery.

What is really happening between now and 9:45 wrt to the listing price, the equilibrium or list price is taking into account all the orders that have been placed till now ? Can someone explain please ?

I have received the shares in my demat but the amount hasn''t been deducted from my bank account yet. It is still blocked. Anyone else facing the same issue ?

Don''t worry it will be deducted from your account in few days , it happens with me almost every time i receive allotment , the amount will be debited when the mandate ends.
