Hello everyone. My first message here. First of all I want to thank everyone contributing here for sharing their knowledge with open heart and for free and the site owners for giving time to moderate the site, as only strict moderation can maintain quality of such internet forums. (Although I was hesitant to register here as it asks for phone number).

I have been following the mainboard forum for few months, although on and off I have visited it for almost a decade, only to have a glance, and also had demat accounts opened for so long, but trading only with superficial knowledge and without consistency. Now I regret not spending more time on stock market and on this forum; I might have multiplied my little invested money quite well over last decade. I think I missed 2-3 bull runs and also experienced much frustration because of what now in retrospect look like stupid trades.

Anyway now I feel confidence in stock market (even though I am a slow learner and practically a beginner). Before investing my money in market, I tried my luck applying for IPO from bHNI quota from those funds. And I have been allotted 1 bHNI in this IPO ( I applied from 1 account and this was my only 2nd IPO from bHNI quota). Based on whatever I understood, my logic for applying was that if IPO funds are used for paying off debt, this company's pe ratio will look reasonable when the next quarterly results come and also other good hotel stocks are already very costly. They are also looking to add more hotels so there is scope for growth. I think it will be good for long term but I dont think I have patience to hold that long, so hoping for some decent listing gains.

This is because CG data is not updated in real time. It lags some hours.

Got 2 out of 4 BHNI. Finally an allotment after 2 months. Bharosa uthne laga tha. 🫣

This may disturb the planning for the Alpex and other ongoing mainboards, but happy and lucky to face this problem after long time.

Type PAN in capital letters, then check again.
