I applied 100 lot (4700 share) at cuttoff rice in HNI category using ASBA form yes bank account. But did not get any allotment. Given that it got subscribed 19 times, shouldn''t I get allotment? Any guess what could be the reason so that I can avoid next time.

More lots required to get allotment in HNI .
So better to apply with family and friends in retail category

Yes you should have got allotment. Anyone applying more than 19 lots should get firm allotment. Check for reason of rejection. Did you apply multiple applications for same Pan? Check with Yestbank/Registrar for non-allotment.
@newuser, you should have got allotment. For 2 HNI accounts, I got both allotments. (9400 shares applied, 509 allotted. 658 shared applied, 47 allotted). You may please check for reason for rejection
Thanks guys for your reply. To clear some doubt, by cutoff I mean I applied at 315. Also I did not applied multiple application for same PAN. Though my Yes Bank account was a NRE account, not sure if that matter because as far as I know NRI can apply for IPO.
Did you choose non-repatriable? NRIs > If there is permission from RBI can apply repatriable, I think in case of Antony there was no such thing. Refer to RHP for NRE applications.
Is your trading account linked to NRE account? (though linkintime does not know that)
Surprise Surprise Surprise from last two years no luck in IPOs. Suddenly Antony came with a new Year Gift.
Applied 10 Lot in a Single Account Got Allotted (470 Nos @315 Rs) Now i am Concerned will it list on Gains or will it be opening below the issue price.
Till now i was thinking if u apply for more than 1 Lot and if its gets Oversubscribed only one lot will be considered. But this time it proved wrong. In future will apply for more lots.
This is due to corrupt linkintime order fulfillment in wrong dp id or some paid one provide wrong dp id to linkintime ....this proves how game playing by linkintime in allotment process....

Practically this is not possible. Either the boarder is lying or there is some misundertanding happened. And in rare case if he can send evidence of same, then Registrar will be in big trouble. Because certainly if allotment has done the way he described, it means SEBI rule is violated.
@paymzia yes trading account also with sbi...3 in 1 account...saving...demat...trading all three with sbi

@aruntdmr - it is self explained. Still you have confusion... read below...
Securities Applied 47 ----> Means you have applied for 47 shares Cut of Price 315 ----> Means you have applied with Cut of Price which is 315 Securities Allotted 0 ----> Means you have been allotted 0=ZERO shares Amount Adjusted 0 ----> Means 0 amount is adjusted from your bank since you are not allotted any shares
I have one more doubt, I applied in HDFC Netbanking ASBA Option. If i want to apply multiple times then that much amount should be there in my Bank account & it will get blocked once applied the number of times which i applied?
Please need ur advise.
Thanks,
Arun

@aruntdmr - If you want to apply in Retail category, apply only single lot per application, again single application per PAN no. No need to apply for more than 1 lot because in Retail category, everyone will get equal chance irrespective how many lots one has applied.
If you have good amount in you bank account ( say 25L - 80L ), apply multiple lots in single application in HNI category. This will increase your chance for allotment. Again make sure to apply in some odd lots (79 / 83 / 97 etc.) instead of even lots ( 75, 80, 100 etc. ).
IPO gurus, please advise on what should be the strategy for those who have got allotment, hold for long term, listing gain? Mid term? Please reply, need some clarity on this, as I''ve regretted in route and gland by not listening and not holding it for long term, sold on listing day, don''t want to regret this time, please help..
Another safe strategy could be as below: Sell 40 % to 50% of the allotment on the listing day. Rest hold for some time for a better price with a reasonable Stop loss
I have done this for Bector''s. Sold 40% on listing day at day''s high price. 60% still holding to allow for better price with a stop loss of around Rs 500

@BhagKris - Ideally my approach is to sell quantity to recover capital and keep profit part for mid/long term...
Again this is my approach, take your own decision...

@Np Patel,
Bajaj Finance is one of the leader in finance industry and IRCTC is having monopoly business... so both are portfolio stocks and good for long term prospective..
