No Short term Or long term capital gain tax as per present IT rule of 2019. The tax will be paid by the company. In buyback offer document of NTPC, it is clearly mentioned.
By tomorrow it will be reflected in your account. Check mail, registrar has sent email informing credit of money in your account and return quantity of shares.
Listing should be around 430. But most of the NII have been allotted in heavy quantity and they will try to recover money on listing day. So below ?400 listing can''t be ruled out
Tomorrow Nifty will cross 14000.Soon after that investors will start booking profit. If listing preponed to tomorrow it could be 400+. Can''t say anything about listing on 1st.Again wrong timing of listing by one day.

I see many msgs where boarders said they got 0/6, 0/12 and even one was 0/39. Please note, game was bit different for this IPO. Its wasn''t subscribed in HNI much, only 18x . And that is also because HNI have to apply more that 13 lots per application so subscription goes up, although application wise it will be less. So for this particular IPO applying in HNI has more chances of allotment. It needed only 18 lots for confirmed allotment. And even if applied for 14 lots, there are high chances of allotment. I myself applied 14lots in HNI and got 1 lot. for 1st tym i applied as HNI. I know for other IPO, applying in retail 1 lot thru different PAN/demat is best strategy, but for this particular one applying from HNI was best strategy.
@Faizan ji, HNI quota is different from RII quota. So HNI can''t get shares from RII quota no matter how much lots they applied.

@techuser - You are correct, I very well know that. May be i got mis-understood in my post. I am just saying for this particular IPO, applying thru many different demat account to get successful allotment is not good option. Instead applying for 14-15 lot in single app as HNI was better option. I got allotment that way only, very easily.

If I had 208 accounts, I would have applied from all. Thanks.

Aniketji, Request you to guide about listing gain for this ipo (bcz GMP crashed due to yesterday's market fall) Is there any chance of listing below issue price (only due to market condition) ?
I had also applied from 39 accounts one of my friend applied more then 150 accounts till the time of HDFC AMC (Applied from 50 accounts) , getting allotment easily now days every IPO got heavy subscription in Mrs Bector food I am totally surprised I had applied from 41 accounts but not get a single allotment … this was happened 1st time with me
lets hope for Antony waste allotment

Hi Aniketiaf or any expert boarder, I have question regarding buyback. Lets say I buy 50 shares of Engineer ind today(before buyback ex-date). And then lets assume i will be entitled for 3 shares. But after record date but before tendering start, I bought 800 more shares. And I tender 850 shares. How many will get accepted? Only 3? or will the 800 shares that i bought after record date, from that as well some shares will be considered? Surely entitlement wont be considered from that 800 shr but what about acceptence?
@Faizan The shares available in your Demat account on record date will only be considered for acceptance under IPO. in Buyback its better to tender all the shares available on record date for acceptance of more shares than the entitlement. as per rule, extra share bought after record date will not be considered in any circumstances, even if tendered by you in buyback.
