Did anybody get more than 1 lot in retail category applying through a single demat account ?

There may be many who got 1/1 and many with 0/40 as well

After route got 1 allotment in antony waste. Did 2 applications. One through sbi asba and one through upi. Got allotment in one applied through upi. Mode of application does not have a say though as it is pure lottery.

I applied one from my Demat account and 2 from my cousin Demat account but all payments thru SBI ABSA from my savings account.

Is there any chance my cousin application is rejected due to some reason, can we apply like this and has anyone got allotment by applying in SBI ABSA like what I have done...

Yes you can apply upto 5 applications

I am happy I got allotment. I mentioned 1/3 as I was thinking may be some problem in applying different application thru my SBI ABSA

Hello experts,

I have been applying ipo for many years but I never got such a wonderful ipo. I always apply in retail category - can this be the reason I get no allotment? Should I apply in hni category? Will that make any difference? Please help

Simple apply with your family members and friends too. Then allotment chances are more .
One think keep in mind all IPOs mostly over subscription ,

Every ones wants to allot for every time but they don''t see (look) how any applications required , and how many came .

You got some IPOs alloted , but one of i know a person did not get any ipo still now past 2011 onwards . But still now applying applying applying , he is always positive thinking .

@crsl long list, but remember it''s purely on luck. There is a contrast in oversubscribed IPO. Probabilities of allotment is always there but that does not mean 100% allotment. Even in 2020, I did get only SBI cards allotment on my name in all oversubscribed IPO. The remaining two are Gland pharma and UTIAMC, undersubscribed.

Last I got allotment in SBI Card and nothing after that. Sick :(

@Patel ji, With all due respect, I hope you remember the 2009 scam of "ferji" demat accounts.

@techuser, agreed with your argument and in past many fraud happened. But with time evolved and learned from those fraud, regulators should have imposed some restrictions and introduce some audit mechanism to avoid such frauds further.
