What would be best strategy to allocate the funds among Annapurna nd Varinium. Please discuss this.
I am not considering other two.
My take is let's divide the funds apply as many as accounts nd apply in Annapurna.
With left over funds apply Varinium in full force as chances of allotment is very high.
Please share your opinion on this.

You can use all your funds in Annapurna, as fund from refund of Sabarflex will be available on 19th, if you had applied.

@IPO Bhakt... don't follow @SamJos blindly.. He wants all of us to bet all in Annapurna and than he will apply in Varanium for confirmed allotment ... :) Joking..

It is a tricky situation between Annapurna and Varanium for people like me with limited funds. I feel one has to choose one out these two, as per @Noorul's famous bird theory, "one bird in hand is better than two in bushes"

Do you guys think other 3 ipo will cross more than 10-15x ? If yes, conserve money for them . If less than 10x, skip completely.
To me, cloud and bpo will cross 15x easily and worth applying. Maks energy looks avoidable.
I think better to put retail appplications in all. Plus hni go with cloud or bpo if limited funds. If good funds, take a chance with annapurna also.
Hni investors would have money to make annapurna 300x easily. Anant alone will subscribe 50x-80x.

@SnipperRaj.. I expect good subscription in cloud as well, hence suggested Annapurna or Cloud if limited funds. It will not be an easy allotment even in Cloud too, but subscription will suffer because of Annapurna who will eat majority of funds. Still as we have seen earlier too, subscription always come from East or West... Let's see on Monday if Annapurna becomes a Mission Impossible too early so that we can focus elsewhere...

expecting cloud hni to be 25x-27x as cloud HNI is 18cr (4 times of annapurna) and everybody funds blocked in harsha and annapurna. Hence a good chance to get more than 1 lot here.
annapurna very difficult to guess final subs. I will only apply if at 2.45pm, HNIx is less than 60x and overall final estimate to be 175x. If it crosses more than 60x at 2.45pm, I will skip it.

My Guess as below: (in the order of preference)

Annapurna - 200 - 300 X (size not important here)
Varanium - 10 -20 X (large size issue)
Kandarp - 20 -30 X (medium size issue)
Maks Energy - 5-10 X (small size issue)

Even I have a brokers note suggesting same.

It is clearly given in rhp that 5% is allocated to shni and 10% bhni.
The question is whether 10lakhs and 1 crore will be considered as same or different because it is given in rhp that person will get minimum 2 lots if alloted and excess if any in proportionate.
Here it is not clearly mentioned anything about considering 10 lakhs and 1 crore as same or different.
Earlier in safa and promax.we thought retail 1 lot and 2lots same but they were proven to be different .2lots had better chances, like that if they consider 100crores as different from 10 lakhs then we have to rethink about lots to be applied.

[Admin] Yes in mainboard IPOs. We are still not sure about SME IPO.

We didn't see seprate sHNI or bHNI category in fixed price SME IPO so far. Annapurna is the Book Building IPO and it may be different. We will come to know in Basis of Allotment document.

Yes, it is clear sHNI and bHNI will be there and allocation is going to be 2 lots for HNI.
I think the investor who is going bid 10/100 crores will participate in QIB (others) , may not be in NII

Page 238: Basis of allotment :

b. For Non-Institutional Bidders
Not less than 15% of the Offer shall be available for allocation to Non-Institutional Bidders. The Equity Shares available for allocation to Non-Institutional Bidders under the Non-Institutional Portion, shall be subject to the following: (i) one-third of the portion available to Non-Institutional Bidders shall be reserved for applicants with an application size of more than ₹0.20 million and up to ₹1.00 million, and (ii) two-third of the portion available to Non-Institutional Bidders shall be reserved for applicants with an application size of more than ₹1.00 million, provided that the unsubscribed portion in either of the aforementioned sub-categories may be allocated to applicants in the other sub-category of Non-Institutional Bidders. The allotment to each Non-Institutional Bidder shall not be less than the Minimum NIB Application Size, subject to the availability of Equity Shares in the Non-Institutional Portion, and the remaining Equity Shares, if any, shall be allotted on a proportionate basis.

As per the above relevant portion of RHP, I understand that:-

1) the NIB has two sub categories as sHNI (More than Rs.2 lakhs – Rs.10 lakhs) and bHNI (More than Rs.10 lakhs) with allocation of one-third and two-third shares respectively.
2) If oversubscribed, individual allotment will be for minimum NIB Application size (i.e. 2 lots) on lottery.
3) If undersubscribed, allotment of minimum 2 lots plus proportionate allotment of remaining equity shares. This we may ignore it as the issue is already oversubscribed.
4) The question remains is whether we can go for full force (i.e. sHNI  Rs.1 million, bHNI Several millions) to have better allotment ratio. I feel there is no advantage for full force application in this SME IPO (i.e. Book building process) as available for normal SME IPOs (i.e.Fixed Price). We may have to follow main board IPO method for sHNI / bHNI applications.
5) Experts may comment on points no.4 above for better clarity.

@Devbull i have received attached image from unconfirmed source and I am not sure if it is authentic or not. Just sharing to know is there any way to verify. It is some sort of amendements in RHP and I also think if it is true it should have been uploaded at NSE.

If old rule is to be applied then there shouldn't be sHNI and bHNI. IF sHNI and bHNI is there old rule can't be applied. This is my thinking.

I contacted the lead manager regarding the same issue. They confirmed that old rule (proportionate) will apply. Yesterday, they issued the corrigendum regarding the same in financial express (Page No 11).

From the image shared by you, it looks like there might be an amendment in RHP. The broker didn't clarify the reason for why to "read as". But until it is updated in NSE website, cannot be considered as authentic.
To be in safer side , I will apply considering lottery basis only.

Could you please explain what do you mean by apply with full force. Do you have any additional information sited by Avenue or you have assumed it as similar to other fixed price SME.

As this advertisement is published in Financial Express, can we conclude that it is now confirmed that allotment will be on Proportionate basis, as done usually in Fixed Price SME IPOs. ?

Thanks but Nailing it, I have created more confusion or Snafu :)

If I go full force in Annapurna, I will not be able to apply good in other 3-4 simultaneous IPOs, and may still not get allotment in Annapurna, as now subscription is going to be huge.

That's what exactly i said in my reply to @lokes in other message. its now more complicated than before. Very tricky and interesting situation after your crack Annapurna code.

Any way, my suggestion to you would be (as I know you are also seeking high risk like me), to go small lots in Annapurna (depending on your bank balance) and target remaining 3 (as more conservative investors would target Annapurna after Harsha, will be left with pocket little or empty). good chances getting allotments there but will have its own risks (as market seems also not in good mood, don't know how long it will buy SME's).
