@ Elo Rusk.... It would depend on HNI subscription. If 10 ppl apply for 33 lots... then if the final HNI subs figure remains under approx 660x, then there will be a lottery and 1 will get confirmed allotment. If on the other hand subs in HNI cross say 700x, then none of the 10 will get any allotment.

Anlon Technology will be highest sme subscription ever ,,,,,,,,,,,,
I think it is better to apply in retail (35% quota against 15% in NII) as NII subscription is expected to very high and chances of allotment are almost nil.

@value ... No with less lot vs retail, then max appl in retail Otherwise big applications have always higher chance
Allotment chances in HNI in SME depends on no of lots you are applying for.... Here retail is expected to cross 350x so you have 1: 350 chance of allotment If suppose HNI crosses 800x, then its better to apply in retail compared to 2 lot HNI application....but a 3 lot HNI will have better chance than Retail for allotment. So its basically a lot better to apply in HNI than in retail if you can manage to add a few more lots to the basic HNI requirement of 2 lots.....
@justlearner and Smile, Here the catch is that every application in retail goes for the lottery, whereas in NII, if your application is not part of large pool of applications which forms a minimum % of the overall bids, then it is not considered for lottery. Like even someone apply for 100 lots and if there are no more bids with 100 lots then this application will not go into lottery. Also here the no. applications available for retail are far more than in NII (35% vs 15%). Thus I feel in such overly subscribed IPOs where % quota for retail is higher than NII then chances of allotment in retail are marginally better.

We all get final answer in BOA, but I feel above 15 lots in single application have greater chance even than separate 15 applications in retail. Lets wait for final conclusion.

@AAA JAI: ok am also applying 2 HNI applications of 36 lots each.... Others also can choose to apply for 36 lots if applying with similar no. like 35 to 37....
@IPOLucky :- Not much difference. If anything differs, it is your luck. If you are really lucky, you will get allotment in any of the application whether it is 1 lot or 4 lots. So apply as your heart says.
@Anari Investor, Yes... It's always purely luck and tried till now multiple retail applications. But, trying to understand if it makes any difference in ratio with HNI 4 lots.
@Noorul@Lokes, according to my understanding HNI will subscribed more than 800-850 times, what's your call or estimation on the subscription in HNI category ?
@Aaditya Dhar This is not a post for me to reply but is there any reason for such a great subscription by HNIs? This is very very big figure. But any thing can happen here in SMEs. Even GMP is not active due to New Year. My best wishes to the Members on the eve of New Year. Starting of a new calendar year.
@AADITYA DHAR There is no IPO at present with such high GMP. Definitely subscription will be high but 800 times is a very big number. Lets wait and see.

Which category has better chance of allotment- hni or retail?
@ipo share Mainly depends on subscription numbers of HNI and retail. In fixed price issue, mostly HNI has better chance. In book built, sHNI can be equated with retail and bHNI has edge over retail.
