At different sites or portal, now these days, one can read the articles where it is mentioned that "if one had invested Rs 1lakhs in 2010, it would have been more than crore." These type of many examples are given in many articles. Some of them are Penny stocks. One can find these articles easily.
None of these articles have given any example of good shares where one has invested Rs 1 lakhs in 2010 or earlier have not been Rs 1 lakhs, including dividend so far. Why misguiding investors that there is only profit in big and no loss. No body knows of ten or twenty years. Long term investment is always good but not the best always. But some times long term investment is not good also.This is just like the commentator of cricket, if the player had played like that it would have been a six. But now he is out. Where are those in 2010, who have not given tips at that time.
I have already mentioned the case of LTI of 2016.
Always compare good and bad at one time. In accounts double entry system is there.
One of the best companies Reliance where you have invested Rs 1lakhs before ten years wouldn''t have been more than one crore today. Invested in NMDC before twelve years is now not even Rs 1lakhs. Coal India again a looser. Many more. The list is very long. Always one should be loyal to the time. Respect the time.
This is only for learning something if one wishes.

I have applied for Ami Organic IPO via Zerodha on 03/09/21 at 04:28 PM payment via UPI and accepted mandate request on 04/09/21 Morning around 10:00 AM. My money has been put on hold but i could not see the application in my bid history of Zerodha. can someone guide me how can i track my application whether it was successful or not.

Guys i''m not able to find my application anywhere on Zerodha and thats the issue. As my mandate was successful and money got blocked so i am considering it as a successful bid but without application no. i could not track the allotment. all hopes on the money deduction/release now.

Even though today is allotment, very few people are active on this forum. Seems like all the ipo craze has gone after seeing the recent muted listing of 5-6 ipos. Only the long term genuine members are left again. Its good because now nobody will spam with unnecessary debit/credit msg before listing 👍.

Correct .Good that unnessary msgs have stopped. Otherwise v wasted a lot of time in seaching for quality and informative msgs

@Amatureinvestor, the question is why they are exiting if the company is so valuable and there is future growth prospects 2x or 3x. The reply that they require money is not acceptable. They lost patience may be right answer. Only an insider may know the real reason of exit.
