I have been allotted shares with other Registrars but never with Karvy as Registrar.
I am sure there is some mischievous activities are being played by Karvy along with promoters to allot quota of retail investors to some special candidates of their choice.
That is why so much forum members are complaining against Karvy in particular.
SEBI should ensure allotment process of each IPO is in order and whole thing should not be left on Registrar itself.
Hope, forum members agree with my view.

I HAVE NEVER ALLOTED BY LINK IN TIME. RAGISTRAR BUT MOSTLY ALLOTED BY KARVY. WHY . NO ANY ONE KNOW.

Have applied for almost every IPO, but I have never got even a single lot in the past 1yr. PURE BAD LUCK.

For retailers. The chances of allotment were 1 out of 11. Hence. If you didn''t get. It''s just that you missed the lottery, there are 10 who also didn''t get allotment.
So the best thing would be to keep applying with multiple accounts and enjoying the market in between.

Pl clarify one more thing. While applying in Amber IPO through ASBA from central bank, one can submit hoti 5 applications. Though mob no was fixed with that of a/c holder''s no., Mail ID column was to be filled. Pl guide who''s mail id should be given - bsnk a/c holder''s or demst a/c holder''s?
I am afraid Karvy may reject application on such small shortcomings.
Pl help for future IPOs.

@ 528 # bro i do not have answer for your query because i am not using central bank asba and in my ASBA facility there is not as such requirement for mail id. but i request the forum members who are using central bank ASBA facility to sort out your query. Thank you. :)

I am applying through ASBA. I have learnt that in case of high oversubscription, all applications of any lot size are merged together for allotment purpose. Hence, size in such IPOs may not matter.
Pl guide whether I am right?

I will follow your suggestion even though in case of other Registrars except Karvy, I got allotment by applying on same day.
I will apply your formula in Karvy''s case.

GMP of Galaxy is 375+

इस में मेरा बेड लक है. लोटरी सिस्टम होती है. कभी कभी लग जाता है तो कभी नहीं भी लगता.
ज्यादा मत सोचो और बिना थके अच्छे अच्छे आईपीओ में APPLY करते रहो. यही फंडा होता है.

Request you to let people post about their personal allotment. It might be useless to some.

They can ignore it by scrolling up /down but let people post anything related to IPO.

All analysis, allotment, queries, problems etc should be welcome.

Many times such stupidity helps in trading on day of listing.

I am really surprise why you think its a challenge. Infact its a boon. Let everything related to IPO flow in.

I really do not understand why people post how much allotment they got, why anybody would be interested in what allotment someone else got. People should stop posting such useless messages and post only useful messages. Moderator should look into the matter and do the needful

When you dont get allotment, it feels very nice to read and hear that even other people did not get allotment. I request all those who did not get allotment to please post and notify in this forum for the satisfaction of other non allotees. In case people have received allotment
then please keep quiet and no need to announce that you have been allotted shares.
