@arup, ahirer: I''m associated with private banks like HDFC, AXIS and GOOD PSU banks like SBI, IDBI (I know the NPA, still, I get good service) but I avoid and will advise people to move accounts from banks like UCO, UBI...

The bank that begins with U (UBI), will end in hell, hope you understand.

Can someone clarify my doubt. Why is their Profit after tax (PAT) so low? Ratio of PAT to revenue is around 1%? Is this normal for the industry?

Can you guide if I apply above 2Lkhs/ HNI from HDFC ASBA , will amount be deducted from bank for 5-6 days till IPO is allocated ?

I see in lot of posts that HNI interest rate for 5 days is ....., does that mean HNI cannot apply through ASBA or it is more like they take loan for 5-6 days and for which they have to pay interest to bank from which they took IPO loan ?
