Allotment is depends on subscription. If oversubscribe then your chances to get maximum one lot + your luck. and if not oversubscribed then surely you will get minimum one lot.
BHEL bags Rs 2,800-cr order for power project in Maharashtra It will be set up as an expansion project of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company''s (MAHAGENCO) Bhusawal Thermal Power Station in Jalgaon district, BHEL said in a BSE filing.
- Room Air Conditioner (RAC) , their components manufacturer (including inverter AC) - Market leader with 55.4% market share. - Top 8 from 10 indian AC brand are customers of this punjab based RAC manufacturer(Top 10 AC brands hv 75% mkt share) - 11 manufacturing facilities, 7 locations
_________________________________________ Industry : 2018-22 13% CAgR volume growth possible in RAC. Hugh growth opportunities because indian RAC mkt current penetration at just 4%. ___________________ Fresh issue of 475 cr, OFS 125cr33
So, Amber somewhat lagging in delivering good growth. Let see how they utilise this 400cr fresh for improving bottom line. _______________________________________.
Seeing First Mover, tremendous growth opportunities, mkt leader, consumption segment, bull mkt condition and improved margin(Past 2 quarters)
2x m.cap/sales should be fair value (because PE here not much useful as it swing widely by small margin changes)
i.e = 2*1900 cr = 3800cr m. Cap => 1208 INR (Fair value imo) (listing tgt)
Year 2019 sales : 2200 cr = 4400cr m. Cap => 1400 INR(1 yr tgt)
@galabhai , No specific call on mkt, we all know currently mkt is not good for fresh buy specially Mid/small caps, which trading YTD 60% return with 100 PE multiple !!
So, Overall Valuation is way above Being Fair, and it may remain for months, years still growth story intact.
Gamble bruh, review is top notch, but here problem is not deciding whether subscribe or not, problem is How about value after list, @859 it is similar to Dixon''s value but what about @1300(listing price),
@1300 it''ll have around 4100cr market capitalisation, Dixon trading same mcap currently with 1560cr as a half year sales, i.e 3000cr plus full year sales. i.e only 1.3x P/S ratio, if we give 2x then 6000cr, Means one can earn nearly 1900cr if buy whole dixon.
Am i right or Am i right?
Plus Dixon''s Bussiness model is much more influencer than Amber,
Pehle AC kharidna hai ya fir LED, smartphone ???

Gamble Sir can we buy Gati at CMP 150?? What is your view. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
@Kid agree Dixon placed somewhat better than amber, recently also entered in DVRs and CCTV segment so extra revenue ahead for dixon, but M not sure to pay 3600rs per share, if more 10-15% downsides then one may consider imo.
@ RJ Rocksji,
Why we follow stocks only after Media coverage??

Amber Enterprises India Ltd. IPO Subscription figures (BSE+NSE) as on day 1@5pm:- QIB(50%) - 2.02X ** HNI(15%) - 0.1X Retail(35%) - 0.88X (1,43,449 lots) Employee - 0.33X (2941 lots) Total - 1.04X **Excluding Anchors Good start. A must apply IPO so try your luck & apply single lot @ cutoff. I have also applied single lot.
Sir, apologies for this stupid question but why single lot? Why not try our luck by applying multiple lot (single application). I am planning to go for the maximum - 13 lots = INR 189839/-
Kachcha Limbu: In case of over subscription, allotment will be such that maximum application will get the shares. So no matter how many lots you have applied, you will get maximum of one lot and that too in a lottery system.
Just I want to know why u mention apply for single lot only if I apply more than one lot then there is not any chances of allotment high, pls explain.....
@darshan, please read, no point in applying as retail bids for multiple lots when subscription has exceeded 1 times as its pure lottery for 1 lot in RII quota...
Suppose Amber gets oversubscribed by 30x in RII If i apply 5 application with 5 different pan - 1 lot each (5 lots) Chances will be 6:1
And 5 application with 5 different pan - 3 lot each (15 lots) Chances will be 2:1 or 6:1 ?
Please clear my doubt.. Thanks

In case of over subscription application wise in retail category, maximum you can get only one lot through lottery. There is no extra benefit or high chances to apply more than 1 lot.
For example in Amber total 1,43,449 lots available for allotment in in retail category so in case of applications received more than 1,43,449 let us assume 11 lakh than allotment will be finalised by lottery only. So through lottery 1 lot will be allotted to 1,43,449 applicants out of 11 lakh ignoring whatever number of lots you have applied. For more details pl. read basis of allotment in Economic Times or Financial Express newspapers on next day of allotment process.
Technically, both are (O)riginal (E)quipment (M)anufacturers for electrical products and appliances, so might be peers, only market cap maybe the differentiator... others advise if wrong!
Both are OEM however Amber is leader in the RAC industry while Dixon makes washing machine and other products. They do not make same products hence they are not direct peers. Yes these are closest peers.
"Corporation bank" ASBA there 2 entries showing for Amber 1 is without discount 2nd one is with discount - 85 per share but message is coming this investor type not allowed to this issue.
