What should be listing strategy??

after see this kind of odd even unexpected allotment this one gonna rock on listing 80% share hold by promoter and 20% on market but after allotment even i can't see in 20% in market ans market makers an lead manager know only this dark secret.

Promoters will have to do a OFS or block sale at some point to reduce their holdings below 75%. I am guessing they held it back in the IPO hoping ( and believing) they will be able to get a better price post listing , so to the extent it is a positive, but the overhang of a large impending sale , likely to be done at a discount to market price, is also a negative.

On a lighter note

I'm still surprised .. even though allotment chances was 1/4 as per total application and it was an easy allotment chance conpare than other recent mainboard IPO's😇🤪

Now I can clearly see that evey1 is on same pitch !!
It's really a disaster 😳
Indeed something is fishy .. we all must complaint so that next time .. nothing should happen like this

​@Sumya  Thats not how lottery works.
It doesn't depend on 1/4 as per total application.
Lottery is just randomly picking application.
If you are lucky all of your applications will be picked up.
If you are not none of them will be picked up.
Appliying more application is just increasing chances of randomly picked up application will be ours.
Also they are not picking up serial wise or something
Consider all of your application are in big black small box and someone is picking up the application, what if we are super unlucky every time someone is picking application it will not be ours.
Hope it clears a little bit.

I have a question for those who trade in the grey market. How do you report the profits/losses in the ITR ? Since no STT is paid, I assume it can't be STCG and seems like it should be reported as speculative business income.

I am concerned that if grey market trading is required to be reported as speculative business income, then associated trades on exchanges might also be clubbed as part of the same business by IT Department and taxed as business income instead of capital gains.

Linkintime doing something wrong I applied with 3 different application from family members account in retail category then also i got zero allotment and ipo subscription is 4.73 times as per probability mathematics atleast 1 should allotted.

​@Moriseiki It does not happen that way. In lottery, it could be 0/3, 1/3, 2/3 or even 3/3. So chill and keep applying, you too will get lucky in some IPOs.

Both unexpected...

but the shares have not been credited to my demat account yet . can anyone confirm are the shares credited yet or not.
is it because of saturday/sunday(holidays) ?
