alkem lab big issue only 1.2 /1.7 times becaat the same date and time dr lal issue is also there so this will be 1.2/1.5 times as said early total size is 1350 crore alkem and dr lal 638 crore total size 1988
here we have IPO applicant investors all of public donot invest in IPO so 2000 crore is an big amount
Now this is a game all about, the allotment of "how much shares ?" according to grey Alkem may subscribe upto 2 times. Now the more question arises
1. Which option we have to choose, I mean full application or minimum application 2. If retail subscribe to LAL with full force then how much subscription in Alkem.
3. There is a very good gmp for LAL " is almost 20%", according to my analysis this is a very good GMP and stock rarely list at discount, those have 20% premium and it is almost stable in the market . so the lal may get also good subscription from retail. How much it will effect the retail portion of alkem.
4. Now the main and important question, can we calculate the subscription data for retail in advance so that we can put full or minimum application.
According to me if LAL get same response as alkem, Then we may get full allotment in alkem.
1. Good Financial, 2. Robust ANDA filings with 69 filed & 21 approved. 3. PAT was stagnant but seems to be improving since last 6 months & I need to understand the reasons. 4. Promising international operation given the ANDA filing. 5. Strong domestic operations with some leading brands like Clavam, Taxim, Taxim-O, Pan, Pan-D etc.
In the United States, we have filed 69 abbreviated new drug applications (“ANDAsâ€) (of which 21 have received final approval and three have received tentative approval), of which 30 were Para IV filings including first-to-files (“FTFsâ€) and one new drug application (“NDAâ€) (that has received final approval). Please refer to “– Our International Operations – Our United States Operations†for details. We sell a range of high-quality, cost effective generic drugs to major drug chains, pharmaceutical retailers, wholesalers, food and grocery stores, distributors and managed care companies in the United States.
Will I subscribe? I don''t know. All depends on the final subscription. Becafighting for one lot doesn''t make sense to me.

Wow!! Thanks for your really detailed analysis, but I got a bit confused by your last line.
Did you conclude your long write-up by saying that ... "You don''t know whether you will subscribe or not, until you know the final subscription" ... or did I misunderstand ?
I don''t find getting one lot interesting enough. So, if I see less subscription in HNI or RII like in Interglobe Aviation, I will apply as much as I can.
i will apply one application in HNI category rest 7 application in my family name single lot in RII if RII is oversubscribed if it undersubscribed in RII then all will RII for max lot application
Trust me. Even I thought I will get but applying for VRL I learn that allotment is probably not pro-rata. That''s how I stopped fighting for IPO''s in market.
Another thing is I never got allotment in any IPO that had Karvy as registrar. So, I avoid good IPO''s if they have Karvy as registrar. IPO market is too much fighting and better to have from secondary market as much as you want. I don''t like opening so many account and applying for one lot.
