Will buy till 14-15.... too risky to chase after that for retailers..... The craze is just with the sector and the out of blue subscription....nothing special about the working of the company as of now so have to be cautious of the risks involved.... Have seen kn agri and vivo.... Both had astonising numbers ....but kn had 2 LC after listing and though it reached high of above 250 but it is back to where it started..... Similar with vivo.... Many enthusiastic retailers lost lot of money om buying at such hefty price..... And this T+2 sell adds up to the risk factor..... Sure it will list at a good price .....but knowing the company financial have to be cautious of the risk

LC.... Hope it recovers before T+2.... * I didnt buy
Surpassed grey market trades with a huge margin. Those who bought in grey market over the weekend also have made handsome gains. Congratulations to all allottees.
In preopen on listing day, circuits can change to any limit it is demand & supply.in vivo it went upto 7-8x. Post listing it is 5% for first 10 days and circuit changes 11th day to 10 or 20%. Correct me if i am wrong. Thanks
Circuit limit is 5% on the listing price for 10 days. On 11th day circuit is @ 20%, I think...

@sbipo: i was out somewhere on weekend so couldn't post, logged in sometime back today to see the price. Listing was amazing. I was expecting it to list around 18-20 as per good subscriptions and sector but it listed above all expectations. Congrats to you for your first big profit in ipo. you may sell once icicidirect issue resolves today or tomorrow to book this good profit since its your first one so taking more risk is not advisable.

Book value of the share as on 31-01-2022 Rs. 18.53
However EPS (ROE) is low and P/E high as compared to similar peers. What is your target anyway?

@K. Atar Thanks for the information. I was trying to do this type of calculations but I am unableto do of my own. Could you please share how did you do the the calculation?
Don't sell a single share ...it can easily go to 25-30 ....let the 20% circuit come first. Hold if you can. This a cow you can milk in short term. U may see some hiccups in 1-2 weeks but hold if you can. No allotment for me but risk/ reward is favourable towards reward. Remember lots are limited and demand is visible.
I don't want to sell my allotment below 17. Only 5 cr ipo with most of the HNi quota cornered after 3 PM .

SME listng is pure game of patience between operators and alloties. Firmness of allotolies determines success of borderline IPO. I categories Agni as Borderline, so requesting not to stand in the line of sellers.

Those who are under compulsion due to limited funds, borrowed money etc will have to sell it any way though the volume will be very less since total lots are only 525 and big hni won't sell it in hurry and a lot of patient retailers too won't sell in hurry so sell volume will be less but it may open on sky high just to lure retailers to sell so that later on GAME could be done. Let's see who falls for it.

Should we hold Agni on listing day or better to sell? What should be the strategy? I feel, we can sell it if it lists at around 17. Can be taken fresh position if it goes below 14. This is purely based on the over subscription figure and previous history of similar over subscribed SME IPOs.
For this IPO - Agni - I was doing some rough calculations - and as per that it is only allocated to 249 customers in retail category.
So my doubt is how it could go much high with only 249 people, even in long term
Secondly for these SME IPOs if there is a lot of 10000, then even after 5-10 years we cant sell part of it..correct. So shareholders for this IPO would be very less always...in that scenario how these share goes up or company will release more shares in market later
If stock price doube, triples 4x etc then lot size will be reduced accordingly. Please see example of past SME companies for this.

@Nitin lot size can very well change in future even in an year also. You may take the example of Prevest Denpro ipo, at the time of ipo (Sep 2021) the lot size was of 1600 shares but now it is of 400 shares only.

The most amazing ipo in recent times. From 80 to 480 🚀
Out of topic story - Mirza international ( Redtape) I bought leather boots from red tape back in 2018 for just 1100 /- .. now the same shoes cost 6300/- online, this hike was due to inflation and increase in profit margin on high selling products. So what do we learn here that once a brand is recognised they tend to cash on it and Redtape is growing at an immense pace , exports are increasing and stock is also recognised among investors. 3% jump on FII holding and Mutual funds jumping in tells a long winding is about to happen. I recommend the stock when it was 156 a piece and now made a high of 283 recently. Accumulation is going on around current price and from here the journey is 400+ . News about demerger of Redtape as and individual brand would also help spike the stock price. Not recommended from a trading perspective but to hold for a long haul. An Indian brand making it's name on a global level should be suported by Indians. Disclaimer: holding from a price of 165/- as a portfolio stock for long term.

@sbipo : you got allottment here? i will share my opinion on weekend, anyways most sme's are operator based in both short term and medium term too, as seen multiple times, so we can just guess based on some experience, nothing much.

@lokes, I know that most of the smes are operator play except heavily subscribed ones as I have been watching and following them for many days although I apply only in sme where hni subs is at least double that of retail and more than 100 times, but didn't get lucky, this is my first ever in life, and since operators play rampant in smes,a bit worried as financial is poor here as well,we want ur. guidance as u r more experienced, Thanks
If not operated it should list with good profit. If one is satisfied can book else hold for more. I will not sell if it lists low and wait to give decent profit. Even healthy life and skp have risen sharply after flat/low listing. I hope 13-14 listing but nothing is certain now a days, one has to wait for operator move and decide according.
