I have received this message today from SBI , regarding AEROFLEX IPO
Dear customer, hold for Rs. 10,10,880.00 has been removed from account no. XXXXXXXXX. If not requested, please contact your branch-SBI
What it means, what to do in such case?

in concord, many applicants' funds were unblocked due to some error, but the whole amount was blocked again immediately.

here, the whole amount isn't blocked again.
however, it seems not all SBI applicants are affected. So they might* not take any action. And later give you some compensation for their mistake.

if you are going to apply bhni in Vishnu, I'd suggest to apply from SBI itself as you won't have to get troubled for money transfer & save some time.
but, otherwise if you apply from any bank, check its cutoff time.. you can easily apply in last 20 mins with good internet connection.
For retail, shni<5L you can apply via UPI till 4-4:30 PM.

so, if asaba cutoff time is 2 PM, wait till 1:40 PM tomorrow.
Till that time call the officials of SBI, linkintime and tell them in case they don't rectify the mistake you will be compelled to involve SEBI for loss of investors and that you will file a claim for damages.

I already emailed my query to registrar
and lodged a complaint from SBI customer care .

Because of SBI scam, chances of other applicants increased.
Wish I went FF here.

Guys I sent email to "aeroflexindustries.ipo@linkintime.co.in" I suggest who ever is impacted drop an email to them and SBI.
Pls let me know the SBI email too to raise my complaint.

Same thing happened with me also.For my 4 Shni applications Sbi itself removed the hold of 210600 & itself put the hold of amount 196560..Expert please guide, what can be done now.. My applications are now been converted to retail I think.

I had applied Aeroflex 2bhni from SBI; now rec'd. message that both hv been converted to rii ( max) I e. 14 lots and new hold has been created for rs. 196560.
I am surprised. What's the issue.
Any opinion.

I had applied 2 BHNI applications , Amount of one application is unblocked and other one is reduced to retail category below two lacs.(applied from SBI ASBA). What to do now?

To all people who are impacted with SBI. Even my case is impacted.
1) However check your other accounts. For example in my case for my SHNI the bid is reduced to 196K, however for my wife it is still retained to 210K which is good news.
2) Check even the BSE Bids email, if in your email the qty is reduced to 1820 means you are impacted and for those whose bid showed 1950 qtys means no impact.
Overall I wanted to say no all accounts are impacted from SBI till now.

I have applied in 2 SBI accounts for SHNI. Both are perfect ( BSE Email as well blocked amount)

My friend's hold is also removed.

Mine too unblocked for 2.10 lac and blocked for 1.96 lac

Probably we need to give time for banks to rectify their issues...just like they removed and again made a new hold they may do it again...so pls keep funds in bank...
I know all are anxious as to what will happen, but time is still there for allotment basis...so let's see what will happen....also since it's sbi and not some small bank the number of people affected will be very high so there will be lots of complaints and pressure to rectify!

Can we use for vprl or wait to correct by SBI if so they doing some internal correction

Just a suggestions to all SBI applicants: Keep the 2.1 balance in your account, don't withdraw those 14k. They might fix the issue before allotment.

There is some glitch in messages sent by SBI. But members are writing so much. Let them clarify first.

I have applied 5 third party SHNI request thru SBI net banking. I got message for removal of hold of Rs 210600 and again got message that hold of Rs 196560 is created. Why? is is fault of SBI in bidding ? or they have meticulously looked into PAN number and Name and matched with SBI account data and then converted my application in Retail ??

As you know sbi has done mistake. All sbi shni applicants now become Retail (Max).
So now if i alloted aeroflex then due to sbi mistake i will alloted only 150 shares which is retail. (because applied in retail max).
is it correct ???

They convert the SHNI into retail category.
Some technical glitch at sbi and bse.

Now if we allotted then it will 150 shares only :(

Amount is getting unblocked.

Or some issue with SHNI application.
Or LinkinTime or SBI has messed up something.

Dear SBI, galti ho gayi, aage se nahi hogi. Will never apply in an IPO from SBI again.
