Why people are applying min SHNI rather than Retail ?
Do we better chances of allotment in min lot size of SHNI than retail in this case ?

Dear @FerroS First I will answer you question i correct the typing error Mr @kishenharendra If you alloted in SHNI they you will get 15 lots not 14 lots

Each category now a day is based on lottery whether it is RETAIL , SHNI , BHNI , QIB
If you applied for 71 lot then also you will alloted 15 or NOTHING

I know that you will ask me again that why people apply for different no of lots rather than 15 lots 😁

Answer is : if you read "Basis of allotment" (BOA)which is issued by registrar than you will notice that there are sub category of SHNI and BHNI. which is a little bit complicated so I take an example :

Any IPO subscribe 6x in SHNI simply out of six any one got 15 lots right .(as per layman understanding)
*There are total 10 applicant's out of them 6 applicant applied for 15 lots which is minimum criteria. Here total applied lots are 90 hence out of 90 applications of lots 15 lots alloted to any one applicant(here also lottery happen)(1:6)
Other 3 applicant applied for 30 lots hence total applied lots is 90 . From here also any 1 out of three got 15 lots (1:3)

As you can see that probability of allotment is increased if you applied for more lots .

But if you applied for 90 lots and no one applied for that no.of lots then you will receive nothing.( As per my knowledge because lottery must be there )

Sorry out of context question-
I gifted some of the stocks to my relative from zerodha which is failed and it shows that sender and receiver should have PAN linked with their Adhaar. I checked and found that both users have already their PAN linked with their Adhaar.. Any advise.

facing the technical error for their bids in aeroflex ipo

but SBI still not come up with any clarification, also its not small technical error, its big glitch

i read comments of one OF HDFC user in aeroflex, HDFC doesn't showing SHARE HOLDER'S quota ,they tweeted nd HDFC reacted very fast nd added share holder's quota...

​@Hope is life  You r right, i am using sbi & boi but recently open account in bob for my wife , installed bob world app. They activeted same day & i applied ipo with bob world next day.

There is no glitch from bank and see the lot minimum 15 in shni and max 14 in retail ,only in this ipo .so next time always see lot size.many application rejected due to this reason. Now shni and bhai subscription reduce and increase in retail. Badluck to retail investor .Phule hi Kam chance the ab shni or bhni ke karma se woh bhai gaye

That is the reason u told yourself there always ask "number of share" to put," not lot "and upper price band is always filled as cutoff price. If we are applying at cutoff rate why they not ask for "lot"
Still they ask to put number of shares,for this we have to change rule in application

This is happened only with those who have applied through YONO app. Those applied with onlinesbi ( portal) they do not become victim. Reason is when we applied more than 2.00 lac from netbanking ' cut off' option is disabled, whereas those who applied yono there was a cut off option in yono, it was SBI 's mistake in software and they should correct it. Because those who are applying more than 2.00 lac they don't have option of cut off, because they are not retailers as per SEBI guidelines. This is happened with me and i fall prey in the fraudster net on 26th to correct this gaffe, though i am an SBI officer, i lost 14500 yesterday, because i posted complaint on Twitter handle, and the fraudster use this social media platform to fraud. Members are requested, don't share PAN, mob no etc on open site.

जिनके साथ ऐसा हुआ है सबको बैंक एवं रजिस्ट्रार में शिकायत दर्ज करा दें,यह जांच का विषय है,जवाब जरुर मिलेगा।

Can anyone suggest if buying SGB in September tranche would be a good investment. With the lowering interest rates in future.. it looks a good safe investment.
Anyone knows on the taxation how it works?

The interest that you earn every 6 months is taxed as per your tax slab.
The gains you get after maturity (8 years) are tax free.
If you sell sgb units before maturity, then they are taxed as per short term/ long term gain rates

Key learning from market:
Sitting on loss is hazardous for portfolio than getting into loss.
Don't hold losers for too long and don't exit from your winners too early. If you found gen then hold it tightly until valuation gets crazy or overly distributed among retailers.

I think Chance of allotment will be tough in this ipo
If many shin is converted to retail then it is bad news for retail

I guess Subscription cant be increased after 5pm ... again sbi cant change after 5pm on last day i guess ....my guess is either all modified application will be rejected or it is already counted in retail before 5 pm...

I checked my SBI account now and it shows proper lien amount for both of my sHNI application ... I have attached screenshot on the category i applied .... for all who got less amount blocked whether u all applied in Individual category or NII category ???? Does it make any difference or not ???

@Earthking. You are using corporate online sbi net banking .
I am using sbionline net banking.
How to register for corporate net banking .your snapshot options are not available in sbi online net banking.
Please suggest how to use corporate sbi net banking and do we need special permission from bank for corporate sbi net banking.

​@Naughty ipo , I am using partnership business current account, so individuals savings account can't be converted.

Again so far I used only ASBA option, just want to see any pattern identified with HNI to retail applicants... Whether all applied using UPI automatically converted to retail 14 lots from HNI lots..
Or a particular state/city people applied from sbi got affected like maharastra Or Gujarat ...
Or ppl applied from current account saved ( in my case) and from savings account it failed

Surely some pattern will be there... Since I could see not everyone applied from sbi account affected ...

I used sbi corporate current account, ASBA option and from tamil nadu branch
...

All affected parties of SBI scam, kindly complaint on SEBI SCORES.

But check once if you correctly applied under HNI category & not shareholder category. Also, there was a limit if you applied in SH + RII/NII category. Check if you were within limits.
If your application was correct then just go to SCORES portal.

I recently lodged a complaint there and it really helped.

Also, reach out to SEBI, BSE, SBI, Link Intime publicly on twitr.
It's very impactful.

Big loss to applicants

Firstly, even after I (or we) applied for 1950 shares i.e. 15 lots, it still sent a bid for 1820 shares i.e. 14 lots.
However the amount blocked was still 2,10,600/- i.e. 15 lots.

Today, they have removed the hold and instead "corrected" in their own way, the hold amount to 1,96,560/- i.e. 14 lots.

It means that they have on their own, converted 15 lots into 14 lots, effectively converting an HNI application (15 lots) into a Max Retail (14 lots) application

(May be somewhere in their systems, it's been hardcoded that 14 lots = HNI. It instantly broke when an IPO came with 15 lots in HNI)

Where to complaint about this big mess by SBI? Bank should be penalised for this software glitch.

Sir may be right about hardcoded 14 lots = HNI.

But in other ipos where 14 LOT & above = HNI thn
If someone applied 15 lots in previous ipos thn it counts as HNI.
