On First day (28-08) on NSE Delivery was around 6+ Cr Shares (Total traded 18 + Cr). Today its, around 1+ CR delivery.

Seems, all are going in strong hands as NO RETAIL INVESTOR DARES to buy at this moment looking to the listing.

Watch for next few days. According to me, it wil shoot up.

What a POWER-LESS Listing!!! Gatuam Adani must be smiling all the way to the bank after pocketing all the investors' money.

NHPC is also going to go the same way. It will list around 38 and slip to around 25 within one week.

The moral of the story: Stop applying for IPOs and turn towards the secondary market. Your money will not get blocked, at least!

Mukesh, I have not. Has anyone who has applied from HDFC Sec online received the refund? One more questions, from HDFC Sec is the app no. of 7 digits or 8 digits?

Hold your Application & contact. If you have applied on-line, meticulously note down reference no., date of application & any other details that appeared on screen when you have applied.

Still if your problem is not solved, contact Adani Power Compliance Officer. You can find him on web site or on Physical Application Form.

Any IPO application number will be 8 digits only

I did call. They are not able to trace my application number (7 digit as I applied through HDFC Sec) and insist that the app no should be 8 digits. I have given my DP Id and client id, but they still cant locate my application. However, shares have been alloted to my account. Hence they asked me to send an email, which I did, but then again there is no response. This is pathetic.

For non-receipt of refund / allotment of shares call to Toll Free Number (from BSNL / MTNL) 1800 425 8282. Alternatively, contact Compliance Officer / Registrar (Karvy) local office or Hyderabad Head Office. For contat details, u can get in Google search / websites / IPO Application Form

It is almost 7 days now and I still do not have the refunds. Called up Karvy local office a couple of times, even sent an email but to no avail, they cannot even provide the status (whether the cheque has been dispatches/ ECS done etc). It is really frustating. I have applied for IPOs previously of much larger size, but never has it taken so long for the refund, nor the response from the registrar been so POOR.

All adani power ipo refund payment's are being paid by registrar karvy. The ECS credit paymenys usually take upto 6 days.
Do contact karvy (local office), in case u haven't received any ECS credit in ur. S.B. A/c.

Also, do apply for IPO through ASBA bank's. Specially, SBI Asba as i did applied for adani power. Whole of the application amount is being liened seperately. And only the required amount is being deducted frm ur S.B. A/c. i.e. no such need to get refund's.

If investor feel there is no value left on table, don't apply. Promoters mostly greedy. Blame investors for applying, not promotors. Mahindra Holidays was also costly. Market moves on technical (sentiment), not on fundamentals. Normally when fundamental looks good & Analysts give buy call on fundamentals, mostly stocks would have been peaked. Develop your own method for buying, selling & exiting stocks. Take responsibility for your money, no use of blaming promoters or analysts.

Still there is no refund of Adani Power. Please let me know whom to contact regarding this.

Rajeev(1570), total traded quantity might not mean anything. You need to look at delivery volume. It will tell you if stocks are moving into stronger hands or what....
i tired to look for the delivery volume, but its not updated

I was looking at data on total no of shares traded on listing day it seems from my calculation 86.4% of offer size has been traded on the first day.

What does it show ?
