CPG companies are under big stress with shrinking profit margin due to increased cost of raw materials and continuing supply chain issues and challenges associated with in-store sales due to virus resurgence.

Most of us are looking at name ADANI and its implicit relationship with ruling dispensation as far as this IPO is concerned. My take is that whoever is looking at this IPO in a big way should focus on LISTING GAINS only as not much can be expected from the company performance as far as next 6-9 months are concerned. On the other hand, I would apprehend that the timing of IPO actually means that company's short term performance is constrained.

For beyond a year or longer......even 15-20% loss should not matter if you believe in the company. If you believe in the company, then only call you need to take is if you want to enter in IPO or wish to enter when dust settles post listing based on your liquidity and risk profile.

I don't expect people to lose much in this stock if you have long term view but I would suggest not to leverage yourself to invest in this IPO.

@spock. You seem correct. NSE shows SH 4.98 adding BSE, it would cross 6x. Seems some glitch on BSE site
