If allotment comes late then it will confirm decent listing gain , if allotment comes on time or early it indicates discount listing as they don't need to manipulate allotment in such cases so they upload allotment data on time.

@mDelhi Basis of Allotment is when it is decided whom to allot shares. Its not allotment day. Normally the allotment details are out on evening or next day morning which is the refund date.
