Discount of ₹64 is on per share, but the table shows ₹64 discount on 50% payable amount,which works out to 128 per share, which is wrong.

Yes . ₹64 discount on 3276. So after discount it will 1606 per share for retail.

@hostpacker you are wrong my friend retail discount is on 50% amount 1638-64=1574 and next installment will be 1638. So 1574+1638=3212

That means if another person will take your share before call money then they will not get benefit of discount ?

Adani's response is very exhaustive with data/ past records on all queries and has not shy away to discuss uncomfortable issues like DRI/ over-invoicing/ stock manipulations/ KP link/ ICDs/ pledge/ UAE, Cyprus connection/ auditors & many more. It is quite a detailed read.

How circuit breaks are determined like some stocks hit lower circuit and after some time circuit limit changes ?

What benefit does the shareholder get upon demerger... How does that benefit the SH? Asking to gain some knowledge on the tipic

I can explain you with example. In 2018 Adani gas was demerged from Adani enterprise . They gave in ration 1:1 meaning 1 share of AEL gave 1 share of Adani gas.
Lets say I bought AEL in 2015 at 90 rupees. In the demerger , Cost of acquisition of AEL and AGL was 92.14% and 7.86% respectively. Thus after demerger, my AEL value was 83 rupees a share and my AGL value was 7 rupees a share.

Today AEL is 3451 rupees (my original cost of acquisition was 83 rupees i.e. 4200% return) and AGL is 3912 rupees (my original cost of acquisition was 7 rupees i.e. 56000% return)

Can't we direct buy the share of new demerged company for huge return , can't we ignore adani enterprises???( From your above example what if I don't follow that 4200% return and only follow 56000% return for low risk)

Hi Jai jai garvi gujarat,

you are absolutely correct. You can directly buy the demerged shares as soon as they list. The only catch here is that the AGL I acquired at 7 rupees from parent at the time of demerger and then it was listed at 72 rupees. So one could also buy at 72 rupees technically but I prefer to stick to the parent because then my cost of parent acquisition will go lower and lower plus I get eligible for future demergers.
Perhaps before 2019 Adani was kind of underdog that means no one was really talking about it. Then suddenly all their stock price rose enormously and retail interest spiked up. Adani green was around 25 when it got listed then rallied towards 4000 rupees. And now people understand that Adani means huge return. This sentiment might push the price of demerged quantities real quick (see what happened with adani wilmar) and therefore I prefer to buy parent and make my self eligible for demergers at lowest acquisition cost rather than waiting to enter in new listed entities in their upper circuits.

I am convinced with three demergers from adani soon because they have mentioned those names clearly in their objectives of FPO.
'Repayment, in full or part, of certain borrowings of our Company and three of our Subsidiaries, namely, Adani Airport Holding Limited, Adani Road Transport Limited, and Mundra Solar Limited'
All above three sectors are booming and it is advantageous to list them .

Aalok ji, the demerger worked for you because you enter the parent company at very low valuation(low risk). This thinking might backfire if people enter at this valuation (high risk) thinking it will.be rewarded as same you said. Right entry in the scrip matters

I completely agree with all due respect. I entered at right time luckily. I am not a professional adviser who can guide somebody but this script and their group companies has worked for me and I have a conviction on this group looking at India growth story ignoring all the noise going around Adani family.

Only time can say the rewards for entering in AEL with this FPO. We can revisit this thread let's say after a year or two.

@hostpacker, that mean 1 retail lot will cost 1638x4=6552-128= 6424. intially and, then cough up rest amount 6424, whenever they want. Kya scheme hai bhai. Maan gaye. Equity ki dunia.

@hchc, Later they will ask for 1638/sh, in 3-6 months. What happens if one doesn't not pay fully (due to fund shortage/out of country, illnesses, ignorance etc.) ?
