should come to level of Rs 3250 shortly and then go up and hold

True.. but yesterday spike of 3450 to 3524 in just 15-30 min was like it will reach around 3600 in 2-3 trading session. But today around 3380 massive short build up.

I am expecting a turnaround on Friday till Tuesday. If price stays @3350 people hesitate to applying fpo so expecting it to go atleast 3450

1st day bohot fake subsciption hote hai, most of them got cancelled or edited to lower amount.
also, LIC ke IPO mein bhi SBI wale pre IPO booking kar rhe the. Same is happening right now.

aur iss baar, bank strike from 28th to 31st jan.
26th republic day
27th IPO opens (Friday)
28th se strike at some places starts
29th Sat
30 Sun
31st =Monday= last date of IPO= Nationwide bank strike

toh most of the application won't even be submitted due to bank problems. so jo seriously apply krenge, woh 1st day ko hi application kr denge.
no one will be waiting till last day because of bank strike. toh 1st day sunsciption figure jo honge woh unusually high honge.

ADANI ENT went up by 30 times in last 2-3 years. And now this FPO brings fresh issue of approx 5% of stake for 20,000 crore.
note that 5% of 30x = 150% of 1x.
iska simply yeh matlab hota hai ki 20,000 crore mein poore company ko aap 1.5 times khareed lete 2019 mein par ab sirf 4-5% milega

Most probably at higher level. Here qib will receive more allotment

when you give a bid you give both price and number of shares. Obviously company would like to give minimum number of shares for raising Rs 20,000 crores

Not a good day for Shares of Adani Group today. All shares down and down. At one point of time, Adani Enterprise was down about 115.
FPO opening day after. May be a strategy to misguide investors.
Adani slipped to 4th position in reaches of the World. Everything Great.

I am still not convinced with the theory that if it is under subscribed in retail and person applies for 2 or more lots in retail category he will get the chance for 8 shares
The company will try to transfer the shares of retail un subscribe shares to HNI QUOTA , where there will no discount and the Adani enterprises will save Rs 64 discount ,
i still feel that retail will get only 4 shares

If retail portion not subscribe application wise fully , then first every applicant will be allotted 4 shares (1 lot) and remaining shares will be allotted in proportion to them who have applied 2 to 15 lots (8 to 60 shares)

depends on subsciption
consider number of applications = number of people applied
consider subscription amount = lots applied per application x number of applications

(Becasue many people apply more than 1 lot. Some may apply even 13 lots and still be in retail category {less than 2 lakhs}.
[Note that this happens more frequently in Overvalued/bigger IPO to mislead retail investors from subscription figures]

FOR UNDERSUBSCIPTION IN RETAIL QUOTA

Scenario 1: Total applications more than total lots in retail quota
in this case number, everyone gets maximum 1 lot on "lottery" basis
(because subscription amount will be definetly more than retail quota size)

Scenario 2: applications received less than total lots in retail quota, but subscription amount more than retail quota size
in this case number, everyone gets atleast 1 lot, and then all remaining lots decided on proportionate basis

Scenario 3: Application received less than in retail quota, and also subscription amount less than retail quota size
in this case number, everyone gets 100% allottment.
But this is least likely to happen because people in other cateory (eg. small HNI) will automatically make applications of 13 lot to get guaranteed allotment in retail. Thus subsciption amount will automatically go above retail quota and it will convert to Scenario 2

AND moreover companies bringing IPO hire banks as IPO manager to successfully get the IPO subscribed. SO NO CHANCE OF UNDERSUBSCIPTION.
i am expection going below fpo price after listing. If not immediately then after a month.

What if we don't pay call money amount? Is there any penalty.
Or we can treat as other ipo /foo

We treat this as another IPO or FPO as long as remember to sell before call notice

I read SOMEWHERE THAT THE NEW HNI RULES APPLY ONLY TO IPOs; Adani FPO follows the same rules, or possibly follows the Old HNI Rules. Please confirm with an expert.
