In SME IPO does Allotment happen in proportionate basis in retai and Hni or just in Hni

In SME IPO, retail category has only 1 lot application. Anything above 1 lot is NII (HNI).
So tell me how can allotment happen in proportionate basis in retail?

LM with a good track record, MM does not have a long track record.      
Company manufactures cellulose-based excipients having usage in Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Food, Cosmetic and other industries. 72% of product users are in pharma industry while balance 28% are in nutraceutical and food industry. It exports to 45 countries. Exports were 60% of sales for 22-23 and H1FY24.
Company has 2 plants, 1 at Dahej and another at Pirana. Capacity utilisation in 22-23 was 96% up from 93% in 21-22. New plant to come up at Navagam Kheda in Gujarat.
Competitor Sigachi Industries is trading at PE of 16.7. Sigachi trades at P/BV of 4 while Accent at IPO price will have P/BV of 2.33
EBITDA margin were 16.7% for Q1FY24, 10.9% for 22-23 and 8.93% for 21-22. Sigachi had EBITDA margin of 20% for TTM Sep-23.
Issue proceeds to be used for setting up a new plant, at a capex of Rs 54.4 cr, to produce carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), CCS and sodium starch glycolate. Plant likely to commence commercial operations from Mar-25. Expected turnover / product mix manufactured from new plant not available in RHP.
Company has 334 employees as on 30-Sep-23. Company deposited PF of 147 employees for Sep-23 and 177 employees for Sep-22.
Other income for 22-23 was Rs 2.78 cr which included forex gain of Rs 2.6 cr. Other income for H1FY24 was Rs 1.1 cr which includes write back of Rs 84 lacs and forex gain of Rs 25 lacs.
Material cost as % of sales was 71% in 22-23, is 67% of sales in H1FY24.
Top 5 suppliers provide materials which is 47% of the sales while top 5 customers make up 32% of sales
Excellent cash flow for last 3 ½ years. For 42 months ending Sep-23, PBT was Rs 37.36 cr while CFOB4T is Rs 37.6 cr
Receivables as on 30-Jun-23 were Rs 29.2 cr of which Rs 28.3 cr is less than 6 months old while Rs 0.96 cr is more than 1 year old. Company has provided Rs 1.15 cr for bad & doubtful debts as on 30-Jun-23.
Other expenses were Rs 32 cr for 22-23 and Rs 8 cr for Q1FY24. Freight was Rs 11.3 cr for 22-23 and Rs 1.4 cr for Q1FY24. Business promotion expenses were Rs 1.02 cr for 22-23 and Rs 8 lacs for Q1FY24. Travelling and conveyance was Rs 1 cr for 22-23 and Rs 22 lacs for Q1FY24. Legal & Promotion fees were Rs 78 lacs for 22-23 and Rs 7 lacs for Q1FY24.
Secured loan carry interest rate of 8.75% to 11.5%, foreign currency loan carry interest rate of 11.5% while unsecured loan, mostly from promoter and related parties, carry interest rate of 7.5%
In aug-23 company made a preferential allotment @ Rs 50/share. IPO is at Rs 140/share.
Decent anchor book. Investors include Negen who has a knack of picking up multibagger stocks.
On track to be a “Block/Unblock” issue for most of the applicants.

What is chance for single lot application.?

Very rare.... unless you put 50/60 applications of one lot....for that you need 50/60 demats.... SME is now a distant dream (especially after Tata tech bumper listing).

Thinking of applying two applications of 71 lots. Need 3 more applications. Whoever is interested in joining, reply here.

Is it that with just 5 crores (applying 5 applications of 71 lots) a person will be sure of getting an allotment of 1 lot (assuming noone else apply 71 lots) .

its repeated question but asking .i have 10 lacs and 6 PANs.

which is the best method increase possibility of getting IPO .

1)initially i thought of apply in retail category only with 6 application.
2)but thinking of applying 3(1 lot each) retail and 1 HNI(4 lots).

i know everything depends on luck . does it increase any chances in applying in HNI .i have gone previous SME IPO allotment basis to check the probability. more than 2 lots in HNI has the less applications so probability increases .

​@Ranjeet s Sir sometime upi status show incorrect status. Check your bank account if funds are still blocked. If yes raise the issue with Gpay and bank in from of online or written complaint. 🙏

​@C.A AKRAM I am sailing in the same boat except I can use only up to three accounts. When we have limited funds and more accounts, better to distribute funds according to the merit of the issue. You will not be able to apply in all accounts and many SMEs at a time. Now according to new rules, funds will be available at very short intervals. Decide your own strategy and keep applying. Only believe in LUCK. EVen members having funds in crores have not got allotment in Sheetal which proves only LUCK matters.

Can any experts tell , who buys at 10 am when everybody starts selling for listing gains, as in case of most ipos, the price usually falls down after listing day gains..

Who knows some juice is left in this stock and who think long term best bet and who not. Allotted in the ipo those are going to buy.
Some mutual funds ,institutions , some FPIs .....Etc buy at opening or later on

​@ANEES As you a New Member of this Forum, I welcome you. If you go through some previous posts there are many HNI members of this Forum who buy in pre open and on listing. Share Market is very big one and there are always buyers and sellers in the market. Every individual investor has his own theory and follows that. The operators run the market in different manner.
It is difficult to find out who they are for common investors. There is lot of things to learn in this Forum. I am learning and you will also.
