Maybe due to large MCap - aware of some HNIs who bought 60-70k shares (1.7 cr), but still not enough to show up in bulk deal due to 0.5% of MCap requirement for disclosure

​@PRAJIT 294 was the equilibrium price. There is always a Upper and Lower range. You will find it reached up to 304 then hot LC. I put a preopen order @300 which did not execute during pre open but at 10am price moved up for few seconds and my order got executed during that time.

I hold abs marine what will be happened ahead.

Can someone explain how the preopne sell works?
At what price the order is executed and which broker provides preopne sales?

As far as I know groww dosen't provide pre open selling

Upstox and zerodha do provide about rest I don't know

If grow doesn't provide this facility..close your account in grow.

I use zerodha and angel and HDFC securities.. never had any issues.

@@PRAJIT  Ideally you should have sold it in pre open... ..you can try tomorrow morning..place sell order at lower circuit from here sharp at 9:00 am

Price range I am still sticking to 151-295... So one can look to add buy below 200.. otherwise we have lot of opportunities in secondary market. Margin of safety is paramount for me in stock investing. I don't chase stock..and am I generally sell in strength...so most of the stocks I sell they continue to perform ..atleast for some time.

1. Can we buy/place buy order of SME stocks on the listing day between 9:04-9:08 AM in zerodha ?
2. How many stocks can we buy in SME on the listing day ( like 1 share or a lot ) ?
Please help me with these questions.

​@Shivv  if preopen price = issue price then you can buy. Current case pre-open price approx 2x issue price..you can only buy at rate for now in pre-open

as per my knowledge you cannot buy the sme ipo lot on issue price

if you place a limit order in pre market with upper circuit as a limit your order will be executed on listing price(equilibrium price) , which can be higher or lower than the issue price or same as issue price.

or else you can always buy it after 10AM at market price

My assumption alone

Mcap: 360
Revenue: 138 fy24, fy 25 E: 165(20%growth)
P/S multiple between 2.2-4.3
(Peer group shipping corporation at 22x, seamec at 4.3x)
Fy 25 mcap: 165*2.2 - 165*4.3
363- 710cr

Price estimate without equity dilution: 151-295

Buying beyond 295 is buying FY26 performance. ..

At 30% growth the price should be 321.

If it list around 290-300... I think it is fully priced and should think about booking profit rather than fresh buying.

Even At 25%growth, and 3.5X mcap/sales

138×1.25×3.5÷2.4= 251.5 (that is fair value price for 2025.)

When are you planning to buy?

Logical buy point should be 138*1.2*3÷2.4= 207 rs.

​@rohiitian sir, i am having one lot of ABS , didnt sell at LC , shall i hold this for 1-2 months at least to let it play its real game as u said this is highly complex and defensible biz, whichm means it shall ultimately run , or shall i book profit right now if it shall correct to much lower levels than 247...

​@Manan Surana Can't predict short term what will happen because selling pressure is there, but long term (1-2 years) company looks rock solid to me.

With the current SME infra boom, I would be really surprised if it lists at anything less than 2x

Expecting to list at 294 types may breach 300 also but it's a long term stuff and lot of +ve factors will help it to become a multibagger given the niche sector it's operating with basically no listed peer as of now

It will list around 40 to 50 GMP, Due to huge selling pressure because of
(i) massive ipo size of 100 crs
(ii) Uncertainty in market due to elections
Subscription also not that much good. However issue is very attractive. But wait and watch on Listing.

Don't blind buy. It may hit several LC's if opens above 50 GMP

True, However given SME bull run, chance of listing above 50 GMP is very high. May even list above 2X. Let's see tomorrow. People are going for long or atleast saying so.
Some people go long with small SL, that get's triggered easily in SMEs.
Some people (going for long) exit hurriedly if there is 2-3 LC, especially if listed very high.
If listed very high, selling pressure may persist for long (particularly with jittery broader market).

Buying after price stabilization is always a good idea.

(Disclaimer- No skin in game or planning for atleast till next month). Company is good though.
(Not a recommendation to buy or sell).
