Is 60% quota for retail allowed?

Retail quota can be 100 percent for profit making company and meeting some other conditions

So simple to so avoid in case of this IPO without any kind of doubt

I WANT TO OPEN A DEMAT IN THE NAME OF MY GRANDMOTHER, SHE DOESNT HAVE ANY TAXABLE INCOME. SHE RECEIVES SENIOR CITIZEN PENSION ONLY FROM GOVT. CAN I OPEN A DEMAT IN HER NAME(BY LINKING A JOINT ACCOUNT( HER NAME IS FIRST AND MINE SECOND, WHICH IS SEPERATE FROM THE ACCOUNT IN WHICH PENSION COMES. I WANT TO KNOW IF I OPEN A DEMAT IN HER NAME WOULD THERE BE ANY PROBLEM REGARDING PENSION LIKE GOVT CUT OFF HER PENSION BECAUSE OF DEMT.
ANY HELP IN THIS REGARD IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

one last question, if i open a demat account by joining a joint bank account( demat in firsrt name holder in the joint bank account). my ipo app,ication will be considered original or as 3rd partty.

When you apply through ASBA, PAN details of 1st A/c holder are shown as pre-filled information. So it will be treated as application by 1st account holder, as such, application is treated as original. Contrary to it, if you apply in the name of second account holder, application will be treated as third party.
Bank Account is always treated as that of first account holder for all practical purposes including IT return.

Quota alloted to QIB (not more than 10%) tells about confidence of promoter that QIBs will not apply in this issue. SO retail quota is raised to 60% and HNI to 30%

Yes correct. I think lead managers do roadshow before ipo to gauge the demand, they must have found that there is less demand hence QIB 10%

than how can this company may be sure to get more retail investor support, keeping more retail sharing and lower QIB sharing? RETAIL INVESTORS ARE MORE SMART THE QIB, NO NEED TO UNDERESTIMATE US?

All Mainboard IPOs with 10% or less GMP will be risky in short term or for listing gains. All those applying for sHNI and bHNI need to exercise caution. Retail is still OK, as the risk there is limited.

Skipping this as too much liquidity on listing day.. 60% retail is big avoid.. company decided by itself and declared that it cannot grab 50% qib.. a failure case ..

Hardly any listing gain likely. Most probably at par or negative listing IMO.

Stay away from this IPO. When sme's offering Anchor quota, this ipo avoid Anchor route. It is appearing very fishy.

Abans is purely avoid , Sula is best among three ipo and Land mark is also considerable

60% retails means listing ke time bahut bada selling pressure aayega....

Although, a healthy rise in profits: Aban Holdings’ net profit has grown from just Rs 39.22 crore in FY20 to Rs 61.97 crore in FY22, at a healthy CAGR rate of 16.5%.
Stable margins: Aban’s EBITDA margins have shown an improvement from 3.5% in FY20 to 14.5% in FY22.
Niche player: Abans Holdings offers its clients an integrated financial services platform. The firm holds expertise in Broking Services, Non Banking Financial Dealings, Financial Services, Agri-Commodity Services, Warehousing, Realty & Infrastructure, Gold Dore Refinery and Trading in Metal Products.
Aggressive valuations: At the higher end of the price band, Abans Holdings IPO is priced at a post-issue PE ratio of ~29.24 times FY23 annualized EPS on a fully diluted basis. This is higher than peers Edelweiss (27.44 times) Geojit Financial (7.28 times) and Choice International (19.44 times).

ASSTT भी बढ़ रही है, ॠण घट रहे हैं।
GMP का कोई भरोसा नहीं,आज है कल न रहे या फिर राकेट हो जाए
RII में हाथ में कुछ आता नहीं,BHNI लगाने का भरोसा नहीं कि पूंजी सुरक्षित रहेगी
दिल हर समय तेजी से धड़कता रहे,
इसलिए IMO अभी तो SULA ही ठीक है,ONLY BHNI पूंजी और ब्याज सुरक्षित

The 10% QIP quota is a calculated strategy by the promotors to get it easily subscribed by several times with few hundred crores.. This subscription figures look decent and will give a positive impact on RIIs and sHNIs who will rush to apply. Thus as much as 70% of issue is easily filled up and distributed as widely as possible. Another odd thing is that a small 346cr issue to keep open for 4 days.

Investors who are applying by looking at QIB subscription figures must be very careful.
QIB portion is 10% only and even if QIB's subscribe less then also it will reflect good figures in this quota.So,dont get trapped into this based on subscription.

Landmark, Sula, ABANS and 3 SMEs me se koi 1 aisa hoga jisme allotment easy hoga but logo ko uspe SHAQ hoga. Wahi best ROI dega like MEDANTA. Guess karo ki wo dark horse kaun hai? :D
