IPO Allottee

IPO allottee is the person to whom an allotment is made in an IPO

All Bidders who get the Equity share allotment are called Allottees.

Maximum Allottees

The maximum number of allottees is the maximum number of investors who can receive at least one lot in an IPO.

The maximum number of allottees depends on the number of shares offered and the lot size. It is calculated by dividing the total number of shares by the lot size.

For example, if a company offers 5 lakh shares to investors with a minimum lot size of 25. The maximum number of investors who can be allotted at least one lot is 20,000 (500,000/25).
