All Bidders who get the Equity share allotment is called Allottee
Maximum Allottees
The maximum number of allottees is the maximum number of investors who can receive at least one lot in an IPO.
The number of maximum allottees depends on the number of shares offered and the lot size. It is calculated by dividing the total number of shares by the lot size.
For example: If a company offers 5 lakhs of shares to investors with a minimum lot size of 25. The number of maximum investors that can be allotted at least one lot would be 20,000. (500,000/25)
