After Market Order (AMO) is used for placing orders post the market hours for the next day trading.

After Market Order (AMO) is used for placing orders for the next day's trading. As the order name says, these orders have to be placed post the market hours but before the commencement of trading on the next day. An investor needs to check with their broker for the timings when this order type can be placed. AMO orders can be placed from between 4.00 pm to 9.14 am in equity delivery segment.
