How to open Sharekhan demat account online?

To open a Sharekhan Demat account online, you need to follow the steps below:

1. Visit the Sharekhan website.
2. On the website's dashboard, go to "Open an Account." This is located in the upper right corner.
3. In the pop-up window on the screen, choose how you want to open the account, either 100% digitally or by visiting you at home or work.
4. If you choose the "visit" option, you will need to provide your name, mobile number, email address ID, location and zip code so that a Sharekhan representative can call you back to open the account.
5. In case of digital account opening, click on "Start Now". This will redirect you to the account opening application form.
6. Enter your basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID and city and click on the "Start" button to process your application.
7. Upload the required documents for opening a demat and trading account.
8. The documents will be reviewed by the stock broker.
9. After your documents are reviewed, your demat and trading account will be opened and activated.
10. A welcome package will be sent to you to set up the account.
