How to activate NFO in Zerodha?

You can activate the NFO in Zerodha through Zerodha Console.

Steps to activate NFO in Zerodha:

1. Login to Zerodha Console.
2. Go to My profile.
3. Click on Segment activation from the options on the left side panel.
4. Click on Activate Segments.
5. Tick the NSE - Futures & Options.
6. Select the Gross Income from the dropdown list.
7. Upload the Income Proof.
8. Enter the password if the file uploaded is password protected. 
9. Click on Submit.
10. You will get a message - Your segment activation request has been submitted successfully.

It takes about 48 hours to activate the F&O segment once the request is submitted.
