What is the options market?

An Options market is the place where options are bought and sold. There are two types of Options market:

Exchanges like BSE and NSE
Over the Counter or OTC markets

Options trading in exchanges is regulated and transparent. Trading in OTC markets is unregulated where the trading is between two individuals at their own risk.
