Is there any eligibility criteria for NII or just minimum investment of Rs 2 lakh is required?
asked
Non-Institutional investors bid for over Rs 2 lakhs in an IPO. These include NRIs, HUFs, companies, Indian individuals and trusts bidding for shares worth more than Rs. 2 lakhs.
Non-institutional bidders have an allocation of 15% of shares of the total issue size in Book Build IPOs.
Registration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is not mandatory for NIIs.
Investors cannot submit bids at cut-off prices in this category. They also cannot withdraw their bids prior to allotment.
The NII category is not eligible for any discount offered in the Retail category.
