Necessity of the buyback

The buyback is being undertaken for the following reason:

  • To return surplus cash to its shareholders.
  • Improve return on equity and thereby increase shareholder value.

The Buyback is being proposed by the company for the following benefits:

  1. The Buyback will improve financial ratios like earnings per share, return on capital employed, and return on equity, calculated based on financial statements, by a reduction in the equity base of the Company, thereby leading to a long-term increase in shareholders' value.
