    5paisa runs a partner program where you can refer customers and earn a share of the brokerage paid by your referral. The company share up to 50% of brokerage with its partners.

    To become a partner customer has to register as an Authorized Person (AP) at BSE or NSE. There is no upfront investment needed to become a partner. The partner also doesn't need a formal office, trading terminal or other infrastructure.

  7. 7. Does 5paisa offer buyback?

    Yes. If you have a demat account with 5paisa, you can participate in buy-back offers.

    Contact customer service and send the letter you received from the registrar with the required detail for participating in a buy-back offer.

     

     

  8. 8. When I sell shares, where does the sale amount goes in bank account or 5paisa wallet?

    When you sell shares from your holdings, the sale amount goes into the 5paisa account or wallet. Once the amount is credit, you can put a 'Fund Payout Request'. Then the request is processed and the money transferred to your linked bank account.

    You can put a 'Fund Payout Request' using the website account or on the 5 paisa mobile app.

    Here's how to put Fund Payout Request on 5paisa mobile app?

    1. Click on the burger menu in your app
    2. The menu will appear. Scroll down and click on 'Fund Transfer'.
    3. This screen will show you available balance on your equity and mutual funds. Please remember that you can only withdraw an amount lesser than or equal to the difference between available balance and margin requirement. Click on move funds.
    4. Fill In the details and amount. Click on 'Payout' tab at the bottom
    5. Wait for confirmation message to pop out. Click on 'Done'.

    Payout requests made before 5 pm will be processed the next day and the amount will be credited to your account.

     

     

  9. 9. How to place orders before market starts in 5paisa?

    Orders placed before the opening of the market are called pre-open session orders. Pre-open session is between 9.00 AM to 9.15 AM. This 15 minutes session involves 3 slots

    1. 9.00 - 9.08 AM-Order collection period-In this slot, you can place, modify or cancel your orders.
    2. 9.08-9.12 AM - Order matching and trade confirmation period-In this period, on the basis of orders received, the exchange determines the Opening Price and confirms orders that match the price. The remaining orders are moved to market session.
    3. 9.12-9.15 AM - This is a buffer period to facilitate transition from pre-open to normal market session.

    Key Points to note while placing orders in pre-open market session:

    • Pre-open session orders can be placed on both, NSE and BSE.
    • Only Limit orders and Market Price orders are allowed during this period.
    • All stocks will have uniform price band of 20% in the session. You need to place order within +/- 20% of last trading day's closing price. So, if a stock closed at Rs 200 in the last trading day, you can place order between Rs 160-240.

    To place orders in pre-open market session in 5paisa, follow the normal order process but make sure that

    • Your price is within the +/- 20% range of last trading day's closing price.
    • Your order type is 'Limit' and 'Market'.
    • You are placing the order between 9:00-9:08 AM.

     

     

  10. 10. How do I change my 5paisa account password?

    If you want to change 5paisa password or you just forgot and would like to reset your password, please follow the steps below:

    1. Visit 5paisa website Or 5paisa mobile app
    2. Logout if you are already logged in.
    3. Go to login screen again and click 'Forgot Password'
    4. Enter your email id or client code.
    5. Enter OTP
    6. Change the password.

    Once you've opened an account with 5paisa, you need to transfer funds from your bank account to your trading account. With the available funds, you can place buy/sell orders using any of the trading software offered by the company. The securities bought will be credited to your demat account.

     

     

  12. 12. How to refer in 5paisa?

    As a 5paisa customer, when you refer 5 or more friends, you earn Rs 250 per referral. The account should open within the 10 days of referral. The following are the steps to refer a friend or family member to 5paisa:

    1. Login to 5paisa.com or 5paisa mobile trading app
    2. Click on the face icon in the top right side to open a menu
    3. Click the 'Refer a Friend' button.

    5paisa also offers a business partnership program for people who could refer 100's of clients. This program offers up to 50% of brokerage share from the customers you refer to 5paisa.

     

     

  13. 13. How to delete 5paisa account?

    To delete the 5paisa account, a customer has to send a signed Account Closure Form to the 5paisa Mumbai office. The account cannot be closed over the phone, email or online.

    Follow below steps to delete 5paisa account:

    1. Call 5paisa and let them know that you would like to close the account.
    2. Except a few callbacks to convince you about not to close the account.
    3. Once 5paisa agrees, they will send you an Account Closure Form in email.
    4. Print the form, fill it and send it to the 5paisa Mumbai office.
    5. Follow up after a week if you do not get confirmation of account closure.

     

     

  14. 14. How to deactivate 5paisa account?

    If you would like to close the account, you could do it by submitting an Account Closure Request Form (signed paper). The process of deactivating the account is not online.

    If you would like to deactivate a segment (i.e. Commodity) or add-on services (i.e. Sensibull), contact 5paisa customer service by calling them or sending an email to support@5paisa.com

     

     

  15. 15. How to close 5paisa account online?

    No, you cannot close your 5paisa account online. The entire process of closing your 5paisa trading or demat account needs to be done offline by filling, signing and sending a paper form to the 5paisa office.

    To close your 5paisa, follow the below steps:

    1. Call 5paisa support or email at support@5paisa.com
    2. Download 5paisa Account Closure Request Form
    3. Print it, fill it, sign it and send it to the 5paisa Mumbai office.

     

     

  16. 16. How to close 5paisa trading account online?

    5paisa trading account can be closed at any time by submitting a signed account closure form by courier to the company. Once received, the account closure may take from 7 to 10 business days.

    Note that the 5paisa trading account cannot be closed online by visiting its website, by email or by phone call.

    Steps for close 5paisa trading account

    1. Download and print the Account Closure Request Form.
    2. Tick on Only Trading A/c and fill in the login ID, names, and address of the trading account holder.
    3. Mention the reason for the closure.
    4. Courier the signed form to the address mentioned in the closure form.

    Please note:

    There should be no negative balance in your account before submitting the account closure form. Also, ensure to square off all the F&O open positions, if any.

    5paisa charge Rs 20 per executed order for equity delivery trade. These trades are also known as cash & carry trades or CNC.

    Espresso customer also has to pay taxes, demat debit transaction fee (Rs 13.5 per trade) and exchange transaction charges.
