It has so many technical issues on PI....They do not have the money to even build their technical team and IT infrastructure I think...So many large investors will lose their money...I think they will move on to some other platform

Same issue here, I have been waiting since 6 months. They took the account opening charges instantly but the online ekyc verification is taking them more than six months and the interesting thing is they DO NOT want to refund those charges if we want to close the same. Very Very Disgusting SEBI SHOULD interefere and ban Zerodha

Friends, I have traded with more than 10 brokers and i have never seen broker like Zerodha who will close its clients positions with out following Exchange Policy on Margin Shortfall. Just for the sake of less brokerage purpose going to zerodha and loosing huge loss in one trade makes very bad, I cant even imagin how Zerodha follow their own policy suitable to them. Even i have experienced missing trades after few hrs . when asked they ask for proof. are we suppose to take screenshots for every trade we make and keep taking screenshot of tradebook and order book ? I even face once when Zerodha did both buy and sell and telling me they are closing positions since tomorrow is expiry date for commodity. I simply asked for that you have to do either buy or sell and not both buy and sell.. dont you see you are trading both buy and sell in my account with our my permission ? no answer . after raising complaint with NSE loss money was given to me back. Its worst trading broker

Very bad experience I have purchesed 20,2,40 share in 3 lot each lot was at deferent price
But Zerodha settled average price higher and extra amount debited ₹229.80 from my equity fund.
Several time made call to customer care but yet not resolved

मैंने करीब 10:50am को Brecket order (zerodha) में ट्रेड लिया था, 2000 quantity @ 800 limit price, sl@2, target @5 with trailing sl@1, . लेकिन अचानक share price नीचे चला गया ,, didn`t hit stoploss & automatically buy/sell signal generate होता गया (total 59 trades got executed at the same time i.e. 10:50:55 am) जिसकी वजह से मुझे 12000 रुपये का लॉस हुआ है,, i called zerodha customer care & mailed@ support@zerodha.com but didn`t get solution,instead got worst experience with zerodha customer care service,, they just don`t give importance to their customers,, please don`t open an account with zerodha instead open with upstox .

I requested the customer support to help me open an account and I got an email from Mr Alamgir Haque mentioning a link to open an account. It was a link for payment of Rs 500 with Demat & Commodities both ticked by default. After payment of Rs 500 was referred to web page to fill my details which stopped at aadhar validation as my mobile number & email was not registered in aadhar database. I promptly emailed Mr Haque to help me and I received a call after a couple of hours to inform that they will open both commodity and demat account despite me requesting him that I wanted only demat & if account cant be opened then i am refunded my money. To my surprise i am told its my problem that i paid and i better take both accounts or do as I like. I have never seen such an unprofessional attitude. thank god i learnt about them at the outset. Though i got duped and lost Rs 500 but i am sure it has saved me mental agony and a couple of thousand for sure. I will never advise anyone to open an account with such a "reputed" company.

This is not good company to open an account.
They have lots of issue in there system.
Every now and then there is issue with kite, trading and reports.
Very unskilled support from them.
I would say worst support.

They are literally the definition of ''SCAM'' please stay away, there apps dont work, they have hidden charges, which they will do anything to hide, they dont keep proper records, neither in P&L nor in contracts, their support system is as their name Zero, when asked with a technical query, they every time dodge it. Im removing my account, please dont go by their name, they dont discount anything, please stay away, you are better off giving more brokerage charges to someone who at least gives you proper P&L.

Submitted my POA doc to zerodha on 23rd dec and still it is pending. Each and every time when i mail them all they want is more 24 to 48 hours. Will strongly recommend not to go with zerodha.

Wanted to know another discounted broker if anyone can suggest me?

Zerodha apps are more for looks and namesake.. i have closely watched for nearly 4 years and have precisely learned that Their applications fail to work exactly during important and peak times. on 22 Dec market spiked up.. unfailingly all their apps Kite, Kite3 and Pi failed to work and get data since morning 9.17 till around 1 PM after which some of the stocks had live data and for rest of the stocks there were no data.
i tried calling then more than 20 times at this time and nobody picked call .. they kept my call on hold for more than 5 min each time.
Now, guys you tell me.. what should more a trader can do when all communications fail? still stick to this broker ? no way.. i dont want to risk my money and business for their low quality infrastructure.
my mails had cold response stating that some issues were there but resolved..
they just dont have sense of seriousness of stock market business to clients. i seriously doubt like another reviewer below stating that they are doing all these for their benifit.. they dont want clients to trade during important and crucial times and they want to take this oppurtunity.

There are lots of bug in there KITE app (Software). You will in lots of trouble with there contract notes of your daily transaction (Contract notes provided by them is not much clear, if you want to check them you have to recalculate each and every transaction).

Very frequently they are showing inconsistent price (Some times High from actual and some times Low from your actual price). So, there is always a chances of loss due to inconsistent information.

I had a issue of stop loss getting triggered at wrong price. After logging complaint i have not received any resolution. Before opening account I had read many such negative issues of orders getting executed at wrong price but never thought I would be victim. They even a huge price.

Hidden Charges in Zerodha
While Account Opening Zerodha, does not say about charges for mobile no upadation.
Once, I became customer, Zerodha asks to pay Rs. 50 + taxes for updating mobile no. I am not sure how many other hidden charges are there in Zerodha.

A totally unprofessional approach by company.

I opened Demat account in the name of on saturday. I gave time to pick up documents in AN of Monday ie 18 Sep 17. I got a confirmatory call from relationship officer in the morning that someone will come. I immediately sent my location for ease of finding the place and land line number too.

Nobody turned up then i again reminded the relationship officer that i am now leaving the office and gave the residence address. I got confirmation of the message but no responese from Pick up individual.

Got a call around 1930 that he will be able to come in the morning since office time is over and he will be there before 0800 hrs. I called up at 0810 hrs his response - "Sir I am still at home."

Can you imagine of more unprofessional approach for this even at the beginning of the relationship. I conveyed to relationship manager that this shows how the company will be behaving subsequently also and i am not interested in continuing with the account. The response was very cold and showed no interest in pursuing the case.

Having seen the comments above I am thanking my stars that I am not going ahead with opening the account.

Zerodha Partner i payed them 25000 rs Zerodha brokership .. after paying thy teling office want, but i hav takn office for rent the office rent cost is 15000 rs but i tkn, , later thy told emplyee want to pkup form, only 100 rs thy give for pkup 1 form, , 1st thy told me all city demat form pkup thy give me, , but later there zerodha customer care telling to customer to send courier to zerodha direct, , thy not giving me leds all city only wekly 1 or 2 pkup thy giving and only 20 % brokerage sharing, , before paying thy told thy give all totoal leds city, , now a days thy r opepning online demat ac, , , totoal fek hai Partner, , if i goon to pkup form if customer not three 1 to 3 time i have to pkup 1 form i lost petrol 300 rs i zerodha give only 100 rs ..i lost 2 lak in office all expenses, , and so dont take Zerodha Partner office

Friends, I am a recent victim from the company. I had not noticed that they had debited my account with with 65K. I lost more than one lakh in the month of April, 2017.
when I complained they are not responding and asking me to submit proofs.I submit the case as under
I had one open sell future position for 1 lot in DLF @175.50(May expiry). One day I sold one position on intra day basis @ 160 and bought @159.10 making Rs.4500/- I repeated the same for 4 times thinking that I made Rs.4500 each time for 4 times (Intra-day MIS basis) to my shock on 26th April, their back office confirms that I made a loss of Rs65000/- and surprisingly the average of the sale position of DLF has jumped by more than 20 rupees and was showing in positional profit at the time of normal trading hours. I have not noticed the change in the price and closed the position at a profit of Rs 5000/- and then started questioning the company while it was too late. They robbed me of for Rs65000/- in one instance and on earlier occassion for more than 25000/- in another incident. Net net it apears that I lost more than Rs1 lakh by now they are yet to respond to my querry and are asking me to submit proof to my claim of having done DLF intra-day transactions. How do we produce claims. It appears that they are not safe people to trade with. I am willing to close my account as soon as possible I have two open positions and few in holdings. Kindly exercise caution. We should not go by the less or no charges for trading but we may lose our money in total as opined by few others. My case is a very latest case.

Luckily with minimum loss, I came out! I am a NRI! yesterday(27.03.17), I was trying to open my zerodha account online! I put my name,email id, contact mobile no. (nri number only), PAN no., then submit, then payment page for Rs. 500 came, made the payment and after that call came from zerodha, bangalore that I can not open account online as I am a NRI! I asked, then why u kept the provision to apply by NRI too as it was taking full 14 digit mobile number! If the application is for resident only, 10 or 11 digit maximum would be accepted! they have no answer but trying to justify wrongly! I understood something fishy! when I told to return my money , he(One namely Karthik) told, its not a problem as its zerodha! yes, its zerodha as after sending mail to them for return of my Rs. 500 , i have got no reply though they were writing to me for closing of my earlier demat account and open it in zerodha, keeping same earlier PIS! When i asked how it will happen when u r closing earlier demat but keeping PIS, they had no reply in that too! God saved me from these fraudsters!
