Once the form is submitted, the application will process at their central processing unit (CPU) and is forwarded to HDFC Bank for linking/ opening of the Bank and Depository accounts. Once the accounts are opened all the details and your Telephone Identification Nos. (TIN), Passwords etc. will be sent to the customer. In case your application is not processed because of any missing details, one of their representatives will contact you.

HDFC Securities Demat account can be closed online or offline. The online closure process is restricted only for zero holding Demat accounts, while the offline closure process is applicable for any Demat account.
To close the HDFC Securities Demat account online, you need to log in to the closure account page of HDFC Securities and submit the request.

HDFC Securities maintains the CDSL Demat account closure form on their website. However, if you have an account with NSDL, drop a mail to customercare@hdfcsec.com for assistance.
