How are the financial results?

Any fresh buying during fall? at what level ? pls suggest

140-150 levels might be good to buy but markets are still to show a correction so better to wait. we might see 23k-22800 again on nifty.

Lot of debate going on about pre-open sell orders and missing on profits etc.

From my experience it is all about individual risk capacity and outlook. Our stock market has become very vibrant and hence also very volatile, there will always be decisions where one will feel "wah acha hua yeh sahi time pe nikal diya" and there will be times of "kya yaar ek do din ruk jata toh xx% milta maaza aa jata"

But this is the beauty - all kinds of scenarios will keep on coming, we are here for long term and we keep learning on daily basis - there is no "silver bullet" to this market

Personally I've learned a lot - Senco, Concord, RR kable, Cello, Inox CVA, Jyoti, Bharti Hexacom - yeh sab opening day par sell kar diye (and now Mark to market loss dekh kar dukh hota hai). Lekin dusri taraf Jupiter, IRM, Bluejet, Honasa, Protean, Ask Auto, Novaagre, Mukka - yeh sab jaldi sell karke bach gaye.

JSW Infra, Tata ech, Ireda, Vodafone - yeh sab long-term ke liye rakh liye.

Long story short - equity investing is as much as behavioral game as much it is analytical. Happy investing to all!!

Mainboard ipos generally rise further after positive listing, so if allotted, wait & watch & book profit at right time or kept for long term.
SME ipos generally should be treated for listing gain, should be sold ASAP within same day with SL.

Kuch me gain hua, but vibhor Steel me 2 shni lot leke baith gaya as it was very small mainboard, mujhe laga RBZ jewellers ki tarah Operators maal utha le jaayenge and fir manage krenge, 220% upar listing se half ho gaya wo,,abhi tak paisa fansa h jo dusre IPO me kaam bhi na aa rha...... Overall gain and loss dekhoge to sell karna better rehta h as bull run me listing Aukaat ke upar hi hoti h in most cases.... Plus you have defined strayegy, ab regret kya karna...

And ye koi solar, defense ka stock bhi nhin tha ki aadmi risk le, 229 ki p/e pe trade kar rha h... Aap lage rho and apne hisaab se karo.....

Sai metals maine pre open me sell kiya tha 120 me at 100% gain, jisne listing day sell nhin kiya usko fir 55 pe jaake exit mila h below IPO price.... 🙏🙏🙏

Markets will likely see correction in next two three weeks. Better to book your profits.

Thanks .. Issue resolved . Yesterday, when I tried, I was not able to do it today. I was able to sell place the order.

It takes 24-48 hours after you add beneficiary..one more thing you should be able to sell in zerodha from minor account itself..

Even I call the customer care yesterday. They told me I have to fill trading form to enable selling.

Respected Members, I received 1 lot allotment in minor account registered with Zerodha for ixigo. I need to transfer shares for selling purpose. I was looking to try via Gift Feature of zerodha as mine account also present in Zerodha. But share was not showing for gift transfer other shares available in holding were shown.
I tried with cdsl easiest option via rereferring below link

I am able to complete BO linking setup step. However I am not getting setup-> Bulk Setup option mentioned in above link to transfer the shares.
Any help is much appreciated

Life First time shni alloted hoya tha retail kafhi milte rehte hai 90% ipo pre open me sell karta hu ixigo ko 1800 share sell @135 in Pre open and 454 at 162 life me first 1 lakh + ka profit hua hai

Financial year me 2-3 lakh profit hota hai toh kya itr bharna jruri hai aur koi income nhi hai

Lets Assume, Those Brokerages Execute Those Pre Open Sell Order Even B4 10am. Even In That Case Price Ticker Must Be Above Any One's Given Selling Price For Once At Least.

All Together, How Much It Would Have A Difference If I Be Ready With A 3-5% Sell SL Than The Lower Price Of The Pre Open And Execute The Order @ 10am.
Only a 3-5% Less Profit Even If I Consider Someone Were Able To Sell At The Exact Higher Price In The Pre Open Session.
But Against That 3-5% Less Profit One Can Have Chances Like Today Always.
Also More and More Sell Orders Always Stop A Stock To Go Higher...Simple And Clear.

Anyway, Yea Saab Samajh Unko Nehi Aaayega Jo Bechne Se Pehele Msg Post Karne Ka Jaldi Me Hota Hai. :) :) :)

Hey, I know whom you pointing this to (not me I guess :-) ), but here is my 2 cents.

1) If someone is applying from lets say 30 demats then there is very high probability to get at least 1 lot allotment in 90% of the IPOs. Its just a probability funda. So can't say people are faking.

2) I am also not a big fan of pre-open order but there can be cases (though rare) like... lets say the premium I was expecting today in this IPO was 40%, but I put a sell order at 186/- with the assumption that 100% premium for this counter is great return and to try my luck.

Now, there is also a possibility where the price discovered could be at 186/- but at 10 am it could go gap down by 10% or even more. You can say this is all imagination, but this is also a possibility buddy. I mean, why not place a pre-open order at lets say 200% premium when one thinks fair value is about 50% premium. If it executes, great.

Having said that, I am not a big fan of pre-open selling in 95% cases. But then I will not call it a waste strategy.

And just to add, I guess pre-open orders can help to some extent in manipulated SME IPOs more than mainboard ones.

Quest Labs is one where I sold in pre-open and till date I did not see my selling price. I expected it to list at 120/-, placed order at 150/- in pre-open to check my luck, it got executed at 155/- in pre-order (discovered price).

Yeah, it could have gone upwards but point is, when I feel 30% is what it deserves and if it gives me 60% then I am happy to exit even in pre-open.

Those who took delivery today, most likely cannot sell tomorrow (unless they are with local brokers).

So as NSE + BSE is showing about 40% delivery out of 11 crore shares (roughly 4.4 crore delivery), which is almost 100% of free float (not considering 30% anchor), can tomorrow be a day of huge imparity between supply and demand ?

Yep, you are right. Anchor is 45%.

So then it is kind of like every share available for trade (free float) has gone for delivery today. Have not seen this kind of listing day behavior at least in the recent past and definitely did not expect from this counter.

Not sure if I am over simplifying things but looks like this has long way to go unless it is a trap by operators. Hopefully it is not a trap.
