if you applied equal to or more lots than subscription (after rounding up) then confirmed lot. if you applied equal to or up to 0.5x subscription then you may get confirmed if no one else applies same lot count (else lottery among people applying same lot count).

by this logic, we need to apply 120 lots now as its subscribed 119 times already.
is that correct or I understood it wrong?

From past 1 month, I am facing issue, whenever I try to apply for IPO via GROWW and I use GPay for mendate (have a SBI SB Account) - I apply for all of my family (I use their respective groww accounts, but I use my UPI for payments).
I have been doing this since January. It worked fine. I could apply for as many IPOs I wanted, there was no problem.

But from past one month, from August 2024, after few applications when I try to accpet mendate it gets rejected and I get a text message saying "HDFC Bank: Your UPI-Mandate for Rs ....... has failed on UPI app due to Risk Threshold Exceeded. Application No. ...."

There is no rhyme or reason for rejection.

Sometimes it can be whenever the total lien exceeds 18L, sometimes when it exceeds 21L, yesterday it happened when lien amoutn exceeded 11L.

It is baffling. Please guide.

And I have spoken to customer care of all three - groww, Gpay and SBI.
Groww said, it is not them, check with GPay or SBI.
GPay says it must be SBI.
SBI says that they don't really know how it works but it must be Groww.

I just want to resolve it.

Can I apply ASBA OF 5 LOTS ON UPSTOX DEMAT [AS IT HAS LIMIT OF 2 LAKH IN UPI], WILL THE APPLICATION BE CONSIDERED FOR ALLOTMENT OR NOT.

asba has no limit and upi limit is 5 lakh

My very first SME allotment (Zeal Global) was with the same combination of LM and Registrar more than ayear back. The GMP became "0" after the closing day and I was prepared for some sacrifice with 2 allotments. Surprisingly the listing happened with 65% gain 😮😀
