One person is saying allotment is “out” and other is saying I “won”. Not sure if I am on Chittorgarh or CricInfo page… total timepass chal raha hai

That’s true. Just trying the luck. It’s FD backed application. I will not loose any interest.

For Example:
Open "Money Multipler FD" on ICICI , it will generate 7.2 pa for 1.3 years tenure.
Apply IPO, FD amount will be marked lean.
if you get allotment, refill money in saving account to avoid premature liquidation.

​@Sanskar singh  post opening the multiplier FD, do you apply using ICICIDirect? if we use ICICI Direct how the allocation works here?

Bhai log, I just don't understand, why we have to apply for lots that amount to more than 10Lakhs? is there any special advantage? let us say the IPO price is 94 and one lot is 1200 shares, then to be in BHNI quota, we need to apply for a minimum of 9 lots, but my question is if we apply for 20 lots or 50 lots, is there any special advantage? how many will be allotted? I still think we only get only 1 lot as allotment or 9 lots for BHNI? Please suggest.

​@Venkatesh Akana For SME IPO allotment is done on proportionate basis, which means allotment chances increases when you apply with more lots.

50 lot application has more probability of allotment as compared to 10 lot application, so most of the applicants try to apply with maximum lots as per available funds and own risk appetite. Refer below thread for more details

Note: For SME, any thing above 1 lot is NII/other. There is no SHNI or BHNI Quota.

Just for formality applied here 5 application and FF on cotfab, but looks like cotfab also become difficult to get 😂

Applyying 30/40/50 lots

Also increase all lots to 40/50 and applied on the analysis of @rohiitian Two big Application in cotfab taking small risk and hopefully got atleast in cotfab .

Allotted 0 in all 50 lot application

GPES Solar: Applied for just 7 lots and 4 lots (2 HNI App) with an aim to try my luck.
United Cotfab: Applied for 107 lots x 1 HNI App with an aim to get 1 lot allotment. As per BSE data, QIB has subscribed more than 22 times out of which FFI participation is more than 11 times in the “Others” quota, as on time.
